I decided to remain quiet.

A second round of knocking.

Whoever it was seemed determined.

A voice called out, “Hi Snow, it’s me, Reed. I checked you in earlier.”

Relief washed over me as I called out, “Yes! I’m here!”

More than just reliefI noted, but also an unfamiliar feeling. A heat that ran across my skin. Excitement, perhaps? Something more?

The idea of one of the sexy owners in my room brought about a wobbly feeling in my legs, but somehow, I still managed to make it to the door.

I opened it, offering an overexcited “hi!” almost too loudly. “Sorry about the hesitation. I guess I was just a little worried. well, you know, since it seems your entire staff is aware of my little issue.”

Reed wasn’t alone, Sean was beside him.

Reed’s smile spread across his face like sunshine, and it warmed me up even more than before. My stomach did flips as his gaze seemed to move over my body. His eyes held a sensual darkness to them, as if he were having thoughts he knew he shouldn’t be having.

My cheeks flushed as my brain experienced some sexy thoughts of its own.

“Would you like to come in?” I asked.

“We try to give our guests privacy but under the circumstances we wanted to make sure you were okay.” Reed replied, his smile reaching all the way to his eyes.

“What if the guest is more than happy to invite you in?” I asked, biting my lip as I stared up at the two sexy men in front of me. Even though I hardly knew the guys, and it was completely unlike me to invite random men into my home, how likely would I ever have a chance to do something like this again?

Sean chuckled, a deep throaty sound that sent shivers throughout my entire body. I held the door open wider as an invitation.

Reed licked his lips and seemed to ponder the proposition before stepping inside. Sean stepped through the door without hesitation.

“So, everything is fine with your cottage?” Reed asked, looking around the entryway.

“Everything is perfect, especially the bed,” I said, with a glance toward Sean.

“Sean loves to hear that, don’t you?” Reed asked.

“Of course, but you haven’t really had a chance to use it, have you?” The sparkle in Sean’s eyes made me think he was talking about more than just sleeping, but maybe that was just wishful thinking.

“Well, I do hope to utilize it fully while I’m here,” I said, leading them into the living area but pausing at the stairs going up to the loft.

“Have you had a chance to socialize yet?” Reed asked.

“A little… I went to the club and had a drink.” I left out the part about Hunter being there, I didn’t want to turn the conversation negative.

Reed cocked an eyebrow. “Oh yeah? So has anyone caught your eye here yet?”

A smile pulled at my lips. “Yes, you could say that but only if staff count.”

Both men let out a warm chuckle. I wasn’t used to being overly flirty and wasn’t sure how to propose a little fun without seeming promiscuous, but I had a feeling they got the hint.

Sean moved closer to me, while Reed stayed back. Sean’s hand grazed my arm as he moved past me, our bodies close enough to feel one another’s warmth. I turned to face him and stared into his deep, brown eyes. His lips curled back into a grin, giving me a boost of confidence. I stood on my tiptoes, his hand cupping my chin as he pulled me in closer to him, his lips pressing against mine. Opening my mouth, his tongue slid in.

“As a general rule we do not interact with our guests in this way,” Reed said with a laugh. “But when exceptional calls for an exception—”

I pulled back from the kiss with Sean who gave me a knowing grin.

Grabbing a hold of Reed’s tie, I pulled him closer to me, and looked into his eyes. It felt like there was a storm brewing behind his dark blue gaze.
