CHAPTER ELEVEN

Where the hell is shegoing?

“Fletch, I gotta go,” Logan said, hanging up.

He strode over to David, and before he could ask the question, the man mumbled, “Don’t know. She’s not my charge.” David thumbed behind him. “You’ll need to speak to her friends.”

In other words, Emma hadn’t told him where she was going, and David had no right to ask.

Neither did Logan.

He pushed inside the store.

“Oh, hello,Fletcher. I mean, Logan,” Harper said with a smirk.

He paused.

Simultaneously, the two women lifted five Chanel bags off the counter and walked toward him.

“Don’t worry. I got the dress for heranda pair of killer heels.” Harper patted his chest.

“Okay, what did I miss?” Addison asked.

“Nothing,” both he and Harper said.

The shop assistant rounded the counter and discretely handed him back the credit card.

Which was a moot point now anyway.

Before they exited the store, he grabbed Harper’s arm, and David raised a brow. Logan let the door shut to give them privacy.

“Harper, this doesn’t mean anything,” he said.

“So, youaresleeping with her?”

He closed his eyes and let out a groan.

“Yes. But it’s just a one...okay,two...night thing. So don’t go making a big deal about it, and if you can, keep it to yourself.”

“It could be,” Harper insinuated.
