I nod, “Yes, if you are still willing to be involved. I have no idea how dangerous the job is going to be, but it’s likely to be reasonably dangerous.”

“As I said before, we’re in,” Asher replies.

“I’m looking forward to it. It will be nice to do a job and not have to worry about my own organisation killing me.” Harley adds.

“I’m going to seriously enjoy cleaning house and getting rid of all the bad.” I grin.

“I’m going to enjoy watching you shake shit up,” Sawyer replies.

“Gerald is ordering pizza, so while we wait for that to arrive, why don’t you start filling me in? Have you got the personnel files, and did you put out the word that those that want out can leave with no consequences before Friday?” I ask.

“Wait, you said what?” Fox asks, his eyebrows raised.

“Sawyer told me that people were forced to give Treyton loyalty, forced loyalty is not loyalty at all and it will just create problems in the long run. I want people working for me because they want to, not because they’re under threat to do so.”

All of the conspiracy team are now frowning at me, and its Colt that replies to me this time, his dark hair obscuring his eyes before he moves it out of the way, “While I admire your premise because you are not only a woman but young as well you’re going to lose a lot of members.”

I nod, “I am aware of that but I still stand by the decision.”

“Fair enough,” Ridge adds this time, looking mildly impressed.

“To answer your question, I haven’t put out the word yet.” Sawyer replies, “I got distracted by Mom being kidnapped, sorry.”

“Don’t be ridiculous; that’s understandable.” Rip answers him before I can.

“That’s actually a good thing anyway. I think that all of those that wish to leave need to sign D’s version of non-disclosure agreements and be aware that if they share any of the Raven's secrets, then the consequence will be death,” I suggest.

“Good idea,” Rome replies, his arms crossed over his chest.

“I can get them sent out as soon as we leave here, and after your show at the swearing-in, everyone is well aware that you will follow through on your threat and end anyone who goes against you,” Sawyer replies.

“What about the money side of it?” Dax asks.

Not understanding the question I ask, “What do you mean?”

“Well, there are going to be quite a few that are going to leave, and I know that you wanted to work out the money for everyone before next Friday because you don’t want them living in poverty for any longer. So, do you want to wait to do the money to see who is left?” Dax asks me.

“No, I will pay everyone. If they choose not to turn up, then they don’t, and that’s it. The fact is that they still worked and were incredibly underpaid, and although I can’t back pay everyone enough to cover all the shit that they went through, they are still owed compensation, and I’d rather that these people left on a good note rather than they left wanting revenge.” I try to explain my reasoning.

“I have all the information you’ll need to make the payments and access the accounts to see where we stand,” Sawyer explains.

“Great, I’ll take all that information and get started,” Malachi offers, and I nod, as Sawyers opens his bag and starts to hand him all the relevant stuff.

Before I can ask where we should start with everything else, Gerald comes in with a whole stack of pizzas.

“Do you need a hand, Gerald?” Mason asks, already standing up to help him.

“There are some sides and drinks left by the door if you would like to go and grab them?”

“Yeah, of course,” he replies as he leaves the room.

Once we’re all settled back down and have stuffed our faces with food, Asher says, “If it’s okay, we’re going to take off. Give us a call if you need us and if you need any help with learning the traditions and things, although I’m sure that Sawyer and Dax have you covered.”

“Absolutely, thanks for helping out today, and we’ll keep you in the loop. Obviously, you need to keep the happenings of today and anything else you’ve seen or heard under wraps,” Rome tells them firmly.

“Absolutely.” He replies while the rest of his team nod in agreement.

“Harley, before you go, give me your number and then when you’ve got the time if you could send me over any names that you think we should watch out for? also the names of any women who are either in the field or would like the training to go out into the field?” I ask her.
