"At least Ronan is giving him a run for his money," Miko chuckled as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders, and we started toward the elevators.

Cormac was waiting for us, dressed in an impeccably fitted blue suit with a crisp cream-colored tie that made his eyes stand out even more than they already did.

My brows rose as I whistled. "Damn."

He smirked and smoothed down his lapels. "Like what you see, baby girl?"

"Oh yes, Daddy." I'd been getting more used to calling him that, and it just fit. I never thought of myself as a girl with a Daddy kink, but damn, did Cormac bring it out in me.

His emerald eyes blazed to life as they roamed over my face and down my body. I was wearing a modest outfit of a black skirt and blue button-up shirt. I temporarily tamed my dark curls in a thick braid down my back. "You look stunning."

His arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me against his body before he bent his head to kiss me soundly. I swear these men were bound and determined to send me into the office with damp panties.

I placed my arms on his chest and pushed him away. "No more. I need my wits about me, and your guys' kisses tend to short-circuit my brain."

Miko and Cormac laughed as we made our way down to the car.

It was time to show off my skills. I would find this mole if it were the last thing I did.

Itried to keep myself in check as we walked through the halls of ACM Enterprises.

But, damn, it was difficult. The office was immaculate. The building was located in the downtown business corridor, and was one of the tallest in the city. According to Cormac, Antonio owned the entire building. Well, he owned the whole city block, but they only used this building for their central office.

"Just how rich is Antonio?" I whispered in disbelief as the driver dropped us off at a private entrance at the back of the building.

"Billionaire, I think now," Cormac answered absently as he helped me out of the car. My eyes almost bugged out of my skull at the comment.

He'd come a long way from a run-down apartment on the bad side of town.

I tilted my head to gaze at my feet enveloped in comfortable black boots. Antonio truly lived in a different world now, and I couldn't help but wonder if I really belonged there with him.

"I don't know what caused that frown to appear on your face, but whatever it is, it isn't true." Miko drew me against him and kissed my temple. "He would give it all up in a heartbeat for you. All of us would."

His words made my heart sing as we checked in with security and got my badge made. We had agreed on a fake name, and I wore glasses, colored contacts, and heavy makeup that made me appear older. I barely even recognized myself in the mirror.

"You remember the plan, Princess?" Miko whispered as we made our way down to the cybersecurity office. Miko was a regular in the department, overseeing the entire information systems department.

"Yep. I'm a contractor from the treasury office conducting an audit, and you're here to supervise me as I gather the data needed for my report."

"Good girl." He grinned and touched the tip of my nose. "I know you're going to figure it out. Your mind is fascinating, and your signature skills are second to none. If anyone can find a trace, it'll be you."

I appreciated his confidence, but I had my doubts. I hadn't been able to find anything through my back alley channels, so searching the mainframe was a last-ditch effort. But if I could see some of the source code and get a feel for the signature, I could figure out the differences.

We walked through the department, Miko introducing me briefly to the head of the division and he led us to the mainframe area. Luca and Roberto followed behind us, inserting themselves as my colleagues and assistants for the investigation. They were employees of the darker side of Antonio's businesses, and therefore no one at ACM knew who they were.

A handy thing for us to have today.

Walking through the cubicles, I observed the people around me, searching for any signs of shifty behavior. It was almost a bust until we rounded the corner and passed the break room.

"Amelia," David, the cybersecurity lead, stopped a small woman as she was filling up a water bottle. "Mr. Cavalori is allowing access for Mr. Alexander and Ms. Turner to the mainframe. I know you’re going to be working in there later, so you'll need to reschedule your time."

The woman, who was obviously an omega, fiddled with her water bottle, her nails tapping out a nervous rhythm against the plastic. Her eyes widened, and she blinked rapidly, obviously caught unaware. Everything about her was ordinary. She blended in with her faded jeans and a plain t-shirt. Her hair was a dark blonde, and she carried herself in a way that lacked confidence.

She wouldn't even look at Miko, Luca, or Roberto. She actively avoided their gazes and practically pretended they didn't exist.
