I shift my hips towards him and circle as much as I can with his weight holding me down. Each movement has my clit rubbing against the bedsheets, sending bolts of pleasure through my body.

“Fuck yes. Fuck yourself on my cock, Little Bee. Make yourself come all over me.” Dominic’s fingers dig into the flesh of my ass as he spreads my cheeks apart. I feel his thumb press against my asshole, inserting it just a little.

“Oh fuck.” I push back on him harder, wanting more. Needing more of him. My hips start moving faster. The combination of Dominic’s cock buried in me and my clit rubbing against the fabric of the bedsheets has me chasing my orgasm. It’s so close. Dominic’s thumb dips deeper into my ass, sending me over that cliff as my body spasms and my pussy convulses around his cock as I come apart.

“Fuck yes, milk my cock, Little Bee,” Dominic grunts as he thrusts into me deeper, filling me with his seed.

I don’t haveto open my eyes to know he’s gone. I can sense his absence. Which is confirmed when I reach my arm across the bed and find the sheets cold. My hand lands on something and my eyes snap open. A blue tulip. He left a freaking blue tulip on the bed.

Where the hell did he even get it from?

I bring the flower to my nose and inhale the scent. A smile creeps across my face. I won’t admit it, but I really do love these flowers. And the sentiment behind them.

Climbing out of bed, I head for the bathroom. After relieving myself and washing my hands, I make my way to the living room and flick on the news channel. I’m halfway to the kitchen, more than ready for a cup of coffee, when I hear the nameChristiansoncoming from the TV. I spin around and my eyes land on a picture of Xavier and Shar—my brother looking more pissed off than I’ve ever seen him and my best friend appearing as though she just took a bullet to her heart.

I reach for the controller and turn up the volume. No, this is not happening. That isn’t like my brother. They’re accusing him of sexually assaulting an employee.

I run to the bedroom and pull my phone off the charger. There are a heap of missed calls and messages. Finding Xavier’s name in my contacts, I call him first.

I know my brother. He did not do this. He would never do this.

“LuLu, now’s really not a good time.” He sounds so tired.

“Xav, I just saw the news. What’s going on?”

“It’s nothing, Lucy. It’ll blow over. I’m fixing it,” he insists.

“What happened? I mean, obviously whoever this chick is, she’s lying. But who is she? Why would she do this?”

“I fired her right before Shar started because she tried to come on to me. I turned down her advances. I guess she didn’t like that too much.”

“Okay, what can I do? I want to help.”

“Call Shar. She could probably use someone to talk to who’s not me,” he says with a sigh. I know it must be killing him to admit that.

“Okay, I’ll call her,” I tell him. “You are going to get these charges dropped, right?” My brother’s career is everything to him. I don’t know what kind of impact this could have on his firm, but it can’t be good.

“I will fix it. Don’t worry about me, LuLu. I’ll sort it out.”

“Okay. I love you, Xavier. You are a good person and nobody is going to believe this shit.” I’ll make sure of it… somehow.

“Thanks, LuLu,” he says before disconnecting the call.

I look at my phone. My hands are shaking. I want to find this woman, this ex-employee of his. I want to find her and I want to tear her apart. Force her to tell the truth. But until I can do that, I’ll check on Shar, so I dial her number next.

“Lucy, I’m guessing you saw the news?” she asks.

“I did. Are you okay?”

“I’m fine. It’s Xavier I’m worried about. He hasn’t slept. He didn’t do this, Lucy,” she says, and I can hear the exhaustion in her voice too.

“I know that. What can I do to help?”

“I’m heading to my apartment later today, and I’m moving in with Xavier. I, um, are you okay with that?”

“Am I okay with you becoming my sister? Hell yes, I am. I’ll come help you pack,” I tell her and smile for the first time since hearing the news report.
