“This should be your very first profile picture,” Kat said, picking one that was a full body image. She was in a tight, green dress that had her blond hair and green eyes standing out. It also showcased her curves, which I’d always been jealous of. My sister was gorgeous.

“Now onto the fun part,” Serenity sang out but she was interrupted by a loud knock on the door. Ludwig launched himself out of my lap as Kat hurried toward the door, paying the man and barely closing it before Ludwig managed to sneak out. She didn’t even bother with plates, laying everything out on the table between us. We all shifted form the couch to the floor around the coffee table, grabbing chopsticks and takeout boxes.

“So, what’s your type?” Kat questioned around a bit.

“I’ve got a few I’ve clicked on,” she said, taking her phone and going to the liked profiles.

“Ouch. This alpha is definitely a mama's boy,” I said. “You need to jump ship now.”

“What? How do you know?” she demanded. “He doesn’t even talk about his mom.”

“Online dating is hard,” Serenity told her in a show of solidarity. “She’s right on this, though.”

“Look at his profile. Every picture that is not out with his friends is in the same house. You can see family photos on the wall and the double-layered towels in the bathroom. I promise you men this age don’t have either of those things,” I pointed out.

“I swear you guys are like detectives when it comes to this shit,” she gasped. “I never would have noticed that.”

“You do have a good eye,” Kat praised, saluting me with her chopstick full of noodles. “I’m never going to be able to browse profiles without you guys here again.”

“So, you have one to add to the mix?” I said, gesturing up at the TV. She glared at me but didn’t say anything else as Serenity started flipping through more pictures for Tori.

“Not this guy. Everything about his wording screams he’s a pompous asshole. Look, he only dates women with degrees, self-motivated, must go to the gym four days a week, and only eats clean.”

“That’s not me,” Tori said, popping a huge bite of crab rangoon in her mouth. “I live on carbs.”

“As you should,” I agreed, tapping my crab rangoon against hers.

“Switching to the main pool of guys,” Serenity said as she found the matches.

I’ve never laughed more in my life than I did tonight as we judged the profiles and made sure that her messages were properly flirty.

She blushed every single time Serenity put in a pick-up line but it worked like a charm. My sister had three conversations going by the end of dinner.

Kat didn’t bother to put her profile up, but it was forgotten easily through all the laughter. There was no judgment with them and the support was amazing. They had my sister’s confidence boosted by the time she sent out the first message.

I felt lighter than I did when I got to Kat’s place and I loved how easy it was to be friends with them.

Girls’ nights were quickly becoming my favorite form of stress relief.

“Three hours to go,” I announced to the guys. Each twin had a hand on my thighs as they sandwiched me in the middle seat of the SUV we rented. Bear and Collin were driving while Ezra was lounging in the back.

I’d been a mess for the last three days anticipating the shitshow that was about to go down. The only thing getting me through was the fact that I knew this was the very last thing on my contract before it was done. I would also get the second half of my pay the moment it was wrapped.

I’ll be done withMy Fairytaleforever.

We had to call ahead and tell them about the restraining orders, which, of course, the network was not happy about. They could fuck off with that attitude. Bear’s safety was more important than having Morgan in on the interview. Plus, it wasn’t like they didn’t have to televise the Trevor and Jacob portion of the reunion.

Whatever they had to do to make it work was all on them, it was far above my pay-grade. Our only job was to show up, let them dress us, do makeup, and be bombarded by horrible and invasive questions.

Ezra tried to force us to stop for lunch but it was cut short. Everyone else ate quickly while Bear and I picked at our food. They had the patience of saints as they urged us to get it to go and load back up in the SUV.

We decided to grab a hotel in town, knowing that we would need to decompress after. Not to mention they said the rest of our pack wasn’t welcome on set. Though, Ezra hadn’t given up the fight yet.

As if on cue, he let out a frustrated sigh and gripped the seat in front of him to lean forward.

“We’re not actually letting them tell us we can’t be on set, right?” he demanded. Not one person had responded to my countdown. I’d been doing it for two days at this point.
