“Alright, I'll bite. What is it?” I finally demanded when he didn't offer up any further information.

“Well all of our renovations are done on the boat and we are officially ready for a test run.”

My heart sank. This wasn’t the surprise I wanted.

“So, you guys are leaving?” I questioned, panic was automatically clawing at my throat and tightening my chest, making every breath a struggle.

“Breathe, sunshine,” Sawyer demanded before I could lose it. “That's not what he's saying.”

“No, we thought you could use an escape. I was thinking maybe we have you all on board for a test run.”

“We won’t be a distraction?”

“Only the best kind,” Isaac said roughly. “I would love nothing more than to take you on the bed alone and ravish you every single night that we're at sea and we certainly need a break from town. I’m capable of doing it all.”

“Good to know,” I joked. “When do we leave?”

“Tomorrow. I already called Walter and made arrangements. He’s closing the shop for the weekend so all of you get a break,” he admitted.

The more he talked the more excited I was starting to get. The prospect of sun and time away was too enticing to ignore.

“It couldn't hurt to figure out if your boat makes me seasick or not,” I joked. It was meant to be funny but every one of them looked horrified at the thought.

“How the fuck didn’t we consider that?” Vince gasped. “It would be horrible.”

“They make medicine for it,” Oaks said, completely unbothered. “Sometimes, it takes time to acclimate. We'd survive. Plus, it’s a yacht, not a little fishing dinghy fighting the tumultuous sea. It’s a lot different. I promise you that.”

“All you need to focus on is a day of shopping. We asked the omegas to take you for us and threw in some new swimsuits for the group as incentive,” Colt said.

“You guys,” I started to protest.

“Serenity... just take this,” Isaac offered, handing over a credit card. “Get swimsuits, cover-ups, whatever you need.”

"We want you to treat it like you and the other guys are the customers. We need a real test run to make sure everything runs smoothly. It's like a whole new boat now," Colt insisted. "Oaks can send over preference sheets and we can do everything according to the books. With a few exceptions." His wolfish grin told me exactly what those exceptions were.

"So, you're really doing us a favor," Vince hedged. I burst out laughing. They were fucking delusional.

"Yes, because my opinion is going to be equivalent to the customers that you're used to," I deadpanned. "Everything on that yacht will be fancy for me.”

Isaac ground his teeth. "Will you just let us spoil you, sunshine?"

Before I could protest, the door opened and they all grinned at someone behind me. I turned to find Ellie, Bear, and Kat walking in.

"That cards for all four of you," Isaac clarified. "So, it's not just you."

"Isaac, I don't need a sugar daddy." He sat back and eyed me before a grin overtook him. He snatched the card from the table and held it out to Kat instead.

"Make sure she gets new swim clothes and whatever else she'll need for the boat, you guys as well for next time," he explained.

"What's our limit?" she asked, all business now. Isaac typed something on his phone before turning it so only she could see. I tried to sneak in but he turned it off just as quickly. Kat let out an excited laugh, clapping her hands and doing a little happy dance.

"Hell yes, it's about to be an amazing weekend. I think we'll all head for the lake while you're gone," she said excitedly. I was glad she wasn't upset they weren't coming this time.

They swept me out of the diner and I nearly laughed at the sight of Ellie's mates, Collin and Ezra waiting. My pack wasn't about to let me go without protection.

Shockingly, Ezra didn't complain once as he drove us out of town. That's how you knew things had gotten serious around here. I was a bit surprised none of my guys came but I guess they were trusting this pack with my safety while they got everything else in order.

"I feel like I should be afraid," I muttered as we walked into the mall. Kat hadn't stopped smiling since Isaac handed over his credit card. She was taking this to heart which was exactly what he'd asked for. I was going to let him suffer the consequences, he made his bed now he had to lie in it. Kat's a shopaholic.
