It was a fucking war zone.

My feet crunched over the debris as I walked further in, heading for my bedroom. The intruder had slashed my bed, the fluff inside and bits of metal poking out. My drawers were busted and clothes in tatters. Everything was cut or torn to bits.

Nothing of mine was left untouched.

"Thank fuck you took what was important," Isaac growled. "After this, you're not going out of our sight. This man is a fucking psycho."

My stomach sank at his words. I knew he was right and I wasn't going to protest, but I would have to push aside my pride and truly rely on them to keep me safe. I couldn't face this psychopath alone. This was completely unhinged, hours and hours of letting his anger out on me.

If he found me, I had no doubt that I wouldn't survive.

Our phones all went off with messages, the rest of my pack anxious to check in on me. Amos likely felt my emotions through our bond.

Vince: Everything okay?

Oaks: Remember how you guys wanted to start a rage room?

Sawyer: Yes? What does that have to do with Serenity and the police?

Serenity: Someone turned my apartment into their own personal rage room.

Exiting the chat I turned it on camera mode, snapping a few shots of the aftermath and sending it over.

Amos: What the fuck? Get her out of there, now.

Isaac: We’re leaving now

Colt: This guy is insane. We need a plan.

Sawyer: We’ll have one. Maybe we should leave Lockwood for a while?

Vince: There’s always the boat

Serenity: Let’s hear what the police say. They may already have him.

"We're not waiting here anymore, there's nothing left to save. We need a house I can properly protect," Isaac said as he pulled his own phone out. He tapped Ellie's contact.

"Hello?" Ellie questioned, sounding worried. "Are you back? What's going on? We heard something happened at Serenity's place but couldn't get past the police."

"Someone destroyed my apartment," I confirmed as he put her on speaker.

"The stalker escalated," Isaac agreed.

"No," she gasped, horrified. "Did they have any details?"

"I'm waiting on the call, I had no service until now," I explained.

Isaac turned her off of speaker. My alpha was shaking with rage still.

"I need you to get me in contact with the twins. We need a new house and fast."

The urgency in his voice had her saying a hasty goodbye and hanging up.

"Back to the car. We're not standing here," he bit out. Oaks took my hand and led me outside.

"How is a house going to solve anything?" he questioned. Isaac glared at his beta. He'd never been the type of alpha to not let anyone question him but right now, he was losing control.

"Because in a house we can get a top-tier security system and a fucking gun," he answered. "This monster is not getting his hands on her."
