He moved around the back of the car and caged me in between his arms, his hands resting on the car on either side of my hips. My breath caught in my throat. He was looking down at me with hunger etched on his face.

“I like your shirt.”

My eyes widened as he moved one of his hands and let his fingertip brush over my exposed midriff. Desire pooled low in my belly and I cursed his mysterious sexiness for causing me to react this way. I didn’t let men I didn’t know touch me, or even stand this close to me. So why him?

I didn’t speak, wasn’t sure I could if I wanted to, and as his head dipped down I knew I wouldn’t. Something about him made me want to take a chance. To let him kiss me and see what it would be like. So I did.

His lips met mine and my eyes fluttered closed. My hands went to his chest while he gripped the swell of my hip. His skin was warm under my palms and I let my hands explore while we kissed. When his tongue brushed the seam of my lips, I opened and sighed into his mouth. The man could kiss.

His hand slipped higher up, over my ribs, and stopped when his fingers brushed the underside of my breast. I gasped and he broke the kiss and trailed his lips over until he could nibble on my ear.

My pussy clenched as he started kissing my neck, peppering little nips between lightly sucking on the scrapes. My head fell back, eyes closing. I felt a tug on my shorts and my head snapped forward, looking down as his tattooed hand worked on the button.

The sight brought logic flooding back into my mind. “Wait.” I grabbed his wrist.

He froze, lips still against my neck. His chest rose and fell heavily as he tried to pull himself under control. He let his hands drop and I felt a pang of disappointment, but this was what I asked for. I couldn’t have sex with a man I just met. It didn’t matter that my body was on board with the idea.

He leaned forward and gave me a brief kiss. His lips lifted in a smirk. “Just needed one last taste.”

With that he stepped back and then went to get into the passenger seat. I put my hands on the trunk to try to help my shaking knees hold my body up. He’d riled me up so quickly and with such little effort it shook me. I took a few deep breaths then went and slipped in behind my steering wheel.

He looked over at me and put his arm behind my chair as he leaned forward. “You alright?”

His blue eyes were intense as he searched my face. I smiled at him and started the car. “I’m fine,” I insisted.

I mean, my pussy was wet and throbbing and all my senses seemed to be tuned into him, but otherwise I was fine. I pulled out onto the road and my cheeks heated when I saw him adjust his dick in his pants from the corner of my eye. It made me wonder how big he was. Gorgeous man like that? I’d bet he had a sexy cock. My cheeks flamed brighter and I shook the thoughts from my mind.

CHAPTER THREE

Marina

We sat in companionable silence for a while. This drive was over three hours long, but it wasn’t going to be too hard with him along for the ride. He was friendly, easy to talk to, easy to look at, and extremely easy to kiss.

Somewhere along the line he started up a conversation again and we chatted the whole way into the city. I was grateful that he kept the conversation light and easy, though he still flirted. I had a feeling this man couldn’t speak to a woman without flirting. It was just in his nature.

“Where can I drop you?” I asked.

He gave me an address and I plugged it into my GPS. It was in a part of the city I wasn’t very familiar with. I followed along and eventually pulled into a fenced off parking lot. The gate was open, but the buildings weren’t houses. I frowned at them. “Is this right?”

“Yeah. This is the clubhouse.”

A man, even bigger than Trip, opened a door to a building off to our right and strode over to us. Trip rolled down the window and the man leaned in. “Trip, you bastard! Good to see you!” They bumped fists and I bit my lip. The man had dark hair and his arms were filled with tattoos. He was handsome, though in a harder way than Trip. I liked that Trip seemed to always have a smile on his face. Not that he didn’t have an air of danger about him. I had a feeling he could be dangerous if the situation warranted it. I was just slightly out of my element here. And by slightly, I meant drowning worse than his motorcycle.

My belly fluttered with nerves even though he hadn’t looked my way. I wasn’t used to big, intimidating men like this. I was more than a little worried. Kat’s voice echoed in my mind, ‘isn’t this great?’

A rough hand squeezed mine and I looked down in surprise. Trip was holding my hand. He must have sensed my unease.

“Doing good, Vesper. You?”

“Can’t complain,” the man grunted. “Who’s your pretty friend?” My skin flushed again. This much attention was so foreign to me.

“Marina, this is Vesper. Ves, Marina.” I smiled and gave him a little wave. “She pulled me out of the ocean.”

“Yeah, Drew mentioned you had some minor drama.”

‘Minor drama’? Was that some kind of code? Considering the meaningful look they were exchanging I realized that his ‘business’ here was just a touch more serious than he let on.

“Tell you about it later.”
