She scoffed, rolling her eyes. “Why would I do that?”

“Because you’re my captive. Give me your name.”

“Why should I give you mine when you haven’t given me yours?”

I clenched my jaw. Fuck, she was infuriating. I’d never had anyone stand up to me this way besides Ruslan.

She was so strong, nothing like the whimpering mess of a princess she served and protected.

Whatever secrets she harbored about who or what she was, I had a feeling her being here was destiny. There was something special about her.

“Reaver.”

Her eyebrows shot up. “What?”

“My name is Reaver.”

A flush crawled up her chest and face, like my name turned her on, which made me even harder.

I didn’t care enough to hide my reaction from her. She stared at the tent in my trousers. Her cheeks reddened, and she frowned. “You’re disgusting.”

I corked an eyebrow. “You don’t look disgusted,” I said, my gaze taking in her stiff nipples.

She huffed in frustration, covering them with her hands, as if she hadn’t spent the last five minutes unabashedly naked in front of me. “Just turn around.”

Not happening.

“No. Get used to it, princess.”

Her breathing increased, jagged, uncomfortable, but making her chest rise and fall in a way that was quite appealing.

I enjoyed causing her anxiety.

Suddenly, she closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and when she reopened them, the fierceness was back.

I remained silent, watching as she bent over, giving me a glorious view of her ass, as she picked up the garments laid out for her to wear. She brought the black leather corset up into the light, turning it this way and that as if she didn’t know what it was.

Spinning to face me, she waved the corset in my face. “How am I supposed to put this on?”

I sighed. “Come here.”

She remained rooted in place.

I stalked toward her and snatched the corset out of her hand. “You are the most maddening female I’ve ever met.”

Squaring her shoulders and tilting her chin up, she stared at me. “And you are the most annoying male I’ve ever met.”

I chuckled. “Lift your arms.”

“Why?”

“Because I’m going to dress you.”
