“Morning, ladies, the prince asked me to drop this off to you,” he says, giving the room a taste of his bright white smile. I can see it on his face that he was hoping I would be alone. He hands me a beautifully wrapped white box. I grab his hand and pull him through my bedroom and into his, where I slam the door shut. Then my lips are on Greyson’s and I’m pushing him up against the door. He reciprocates with heat, and as much as I want to do more, I must hold myself back because my family is next door.

Tonight.Tonight, we will consummate our relationship.

“Thank you for my gift.” I bite my bottom lip.

“You’re welcome.” He grins. “Today’s the day.” He places his hands in his pockets, probably so he can’t reach out for me.

“How are you feeling?” I ask, worried about him.

“Honestly, I can’t wait for it to be over.”

Oh.

“Not like that. So that tonight it can be just the three of us.”

Phew.

“Open your gift,” he tells me.

My gift from Auggie, yes, I open the white box and pull out the gorgeous diamond bracelet.”

“It’s three connected as one. Auggie wanted it to symbolize us on this day,” Greyson explains as he takes the bracelet from the box and places it around my wrist.

I look up at him with tears in my eyes.

“Princess, don’t cry,” he says, rubbing the tears away from my cheeks.

“It’s beautiful,” I tell him.

“I’ll tell him you love it. Now, go in there and get ready. You have a prince to marry.” He gives my ass a slap, pushing me back toward my room as he disappears from his toward Auggies, probably to tell him how much I love the gift. I take a couple of moments to compose myself before walking back into my bedroom.

“Are you okay?” Skylar asks as I walk back into the room.

I nod but can’t seem to find the words that I want to say and instead I hold up the bracelet. Everyone’s eyes widen as they take in the glittery jewels.

“It’s three connected as one.” I sob as I shake my wrist.

My sister’s rush toward me and wrap me in a tight hug, they understand. Henrietta gives me a concerned look.

“Henny, I’m going to need you to take a seat,” I tell her seriously.

She gives me a concerned look but does as she’s asked, probably because she is worried about me.

Magnolia closes my bedroom door so no one can hear the conversation I’m about to have with her.

“That man who walked in is the prince’s bodyguard and best friend.” Henny nods. “He is also the prince’s lover.”

She gasps as her hands cover her mouth in surprise. “The prince is gay?” she questions me.

“It’s a little more complicated than that,” I tell her. “He likes both sexes.” She frowns before realizing what I’m saying. “As does his bodyguard.”

“What has that got to do with you?” Henny asks and before I can even answer she jumps up and glares at me. “Please, don’t tell me you are with both of them?”

“I am,”

Henny mutters and shakes her head.

“It’s okay, Henny. It’s the reason the prince chose me. He wanted a woman that would support his love. Which I one hundred percent do. We needed the money.” Henny nods in understanding. “Somewhere along the way the three of us fell for each other.”
