"I wish I was as efficient. I have another load of laundry to do and my apartment needs a good dusting and vacuuming." She'd meant to do it on the weekend, but those plans had gone by the wayside in the face of the opportunity to spend that time with him.

"If I offered to send a cleaning service so you could return to my home, would you be charmed, or offended?"

"Good question." But her heart had already answered it. She was definitely charmed.

He wanted to spend time with her and that he was pressing for her return to his home when he made a habit of working long hours and into the night, meant he planned to change his own schedule to make that worth it. Didn't he?

She said, "It depends on if you plan to spend time with me out of bed if I return to the villa, or just want a convenient bed partner."

"If I planned to work while you were here, I would not ask you to come," he said with easy assurance.

He hadn't had to think about his answer for even a second. Which meant what? Lysander really did want to spend time with her.

"This thing between us, it's intense, isn't it?"

"Yes."

"That's kind of scary."

"It doesn't need to be. Neither of us has made any promises."

That wasn't as reassuring as she was sure he thought it would be.

"I don't live with women."

Well, that had come out of nowhere. "I wasn't asking to move in. You're the one trying to finagle my presence in your home, if you'll remember."

"I am aware." He paused like he was thinking. "I don't live with my lovers," he said again. "But I want to live with you. You are right, most nights I work after dinner and I leave early for the office, but I want to spend as much time with you as possible."

She should be shocked, but she wasn't. Because Rowan wanted the same thing. Whatever they had between them, it was burning hot and bright right now. She wanted to indulge in every second that blazing hot passion lasted. It was bound to burn itself out, but until then?

Rowan wanted to spend every available moment with Lysander.

"Not just in bed," she said, certain that she could not live with that kind of arrangement. It would just be another box to stuff herself into and she was done being stifled.

"Not just in bed," he affirmed. "I want to eat breakfast with you, even if it's two hours after I've started my workday. I want to see you when I return to my home, to find you watching your favorite show or haranguing my security men about their manners."

"That sounds very domestic."

"I have never said I don't like domesticity."

Only commitment. "All right."

"You will move in with me?" he asked.

"Well, I had been thinking about getting a cat. I guess that will have to wait."

"You want a cat?"

"Yes." Getting a rescue pet had never been an option when she was living at home or in the Andino mansion. "But it can wait. I'm keeping my apartment though. This thing between us could fizzle out in a week."

"Or not."

"Or not. Either way, I'm keeping my place."

"Naturally."

"And I'm not coming over tonight," she said firmly. Both for his sake and her own. "I'm going to finish my laundry and pack some things like a normal person. I'll come to the villa tomorrow after work."
