“I need to get a few things for Gene, and then talk to you for a bit,” she said, only to have him not look at her.
He didn’t even answer her.
Oh, well, someone was angry at her now too because she wasn’t jumping onto the ‘our men are going to cheat on us’ bandwagon.
If that was how he wanted to play this, that was his choice. Again, this man was loco to think that is what was going to happen.
“Did I do something to piss you off too?” she asked because Elizabeth didn’t beat around the bush.
