Reaper laughed.

“I see my reputation proceeds me. I do hope the Red Queen didn’t kiss and tell. I’d be horrified at the stories she could share.”

“Lewis,” she warned.

Only, her husband was nonplussed.

Duke just stared at him with the same look Elizabeth gave people when she was NOT amused. It was also the ‘I’m going to punch you in the throat’ look.

“Charlie looked at me a few times like that,” he joked.

“Well, from what I heard, I understand why,” Duke admitted.

He laughed.

“Tough crowd.”

“Oh, I’m sorry. Did you think I’d be happy to meet a guy my wife had sex with? Want to get drinks and talk about her…”

“DUKE,” Axelle said, laughing. “We are not doing that. You’re not spending time with Reaper. He looks calm and peaceful, but he’s dangerous.”

He grinned.

Elizabeth elbowed him hard in the chest, and he wasn’t in gear, so he felt it.

“I heard you liked it rough, but that was mean,” he joked, making her laugh.

Ethan ignored it, ONLY because his wife had been with Chris during the Lewis years. That was his saving grace. Because he’d call his partners and kick a Spider’s ass if need be.

Elizabeth took over before it got ugly. Two husbands and a Spider did not a good time make.

“I have to go to New Orleans to take care of some filth that just won’t retire. We have a mess.”

Yeah, Duke didn’t like that for a few reasons. Mainly, he liked his wife safe, and his sister safe too.

“You’re not going,” Duke said, meaning his wife. “I’m not breastfeeding our child.”

She slapped him on the ass.

“Not my kink, caveman. Not my kink. As for you bossing me around, now you’ve got the right idea,” she joked, winking at her sexy husband.

He had nothing to worry about.

She always asked Elizabeth if she had a brother, uncle, cousin, or relative she could marry, and the universe had a sense of humor.

She married her half-brother.

“Woman, we’ll discuss…HIM later—mainly how your lips were on his.”

Lewis laughed when Axelle went under the bigger man’s arm and looked calm. She’d always been a storm with him, and he knew that he’d been a rebound guy.

He was happy for her.

Axelle was a good woman, and she deserved someone protective.

“Yeah, he’s the dude you definitely should be married to,” he admitted. “I’m glad you’re happy, Red.”

She legitimately was.
