They moved in a pattern he recognized.

They were Marines.

What was this?

When they broke off, and he saw the profile of the taller one, he knew who it was.

Snakes.

Somehow, they were heading to this location, and that meant he’d been right to watch it.

Yeah, lucky him.

As they flanked the house, he saw them get into position to enter.

Well, heading to The Hunter office was going to have to wait. The two Snakes might need a little help.

One was, after all, pregnant.

From sitting there, he knew there were three men inside, and that meant they’d be outnumbered.

As soon as they moved into the shadows, he knew what he needed to do.

Help.

Leaving his web, the comfy one he’d set up across from the house, he watched them go in, and moved.

With just a side arm, he crossed the street, hit the side of the house, and climbed the building.

From downstairs, he could hear the ruckus.

That meant the man upstairs would too.

Going in through a window, he approached the man who was loading a gun, and getting ready to ambush the two women.

Creeping up behind him, he grabbed him, put him in a headlock, and pressed on his neck in just the right spot.

He.

Went.

Out.

Then, because he needed to warn them that the house had three men, not two, he crept down the stairs.

Lewis was just in time to see the smaller woman kick the shit out of the big, bulky man.

He cringed when she punched him so damn hard in the balls, to get him to go to his knees.

Then, she got him in the neck before he fell backward onto the floor.

As the two Snakes congregated, he headed further down the stairs. They didn’t hear him until he cleared his throat.

They both spun, going for their guns, so he had to go for his too.

“Woah, chill out,” he said.

They kept their guns leveled at him.
