“We’re going into the warehouse for now,” she admitted.

Well, then, Jagger was too. There was no way his pregnant wife was going in without him.

Pass.

“MATE, do your thing,” she said, putting the box next to the access on the door. Just by touching the keypad, the system overrode it, blocking any waves or information from going back to Artemis.

“I like this box,” Reaper said.

The big Native slowed his roll.

“Not yours, Spider. Keep your mitts off it,” Zayn stated. “I have to put up with Elizabeth, so we get the fun things first.”

The man laughed, and then, they opened the door.

“MATE, make sure those cameras are looping, or we have a problem. We’re going in with night vision so the system isn’t alerted.”

That was likely the best way.

They all pulled down their night vision, and started the mission. Hopefully, they’d find something good inside.

Like Artemis.

“Alert us when we’re close to a tripwire.”

“For the record, when she hired me, she never said there would be traps. I think she wanted me to die,” Reaper said. “She’s a cunt.”

Yeah, tell them something they didn’t know. They’d been dealing with her a lot lately, and before they could face down a Russian, they needed to get rid of the faux German.

As they breeched the door, they had faith in the system they were wearing.

If not, Artemis was going to know they were there, and they could be trapped inside. She’d bought up all the mercenaries in the area, and that was bad.

For them.

Inside, they ran right into what she was holding there, and it was huge.

Maura whistled.

“Holy gun stash,” she muttered.

There were crates upon crates upon crates of guns. This was a mercenary’s dream location.

She glanced over at Reaper.

“Back that moving van up to the door. We’re taking the guns and anything else she has here. We can’t let the Russian have a free for all at our expense. If he couldn’t get in with guns, that means we buy ourselves some time. She’s stockpiling for a war. We need to stop that.”

He headed back out.

“Zayn, help him, and don’t come back in until we clear it and MATE gives you directions. You won’t see the tripwires.”

He nodded.

“I don’t like him,” he said, referring to Reaper.

She stopped that then and there.

“I didn’t say make out with him or take him to the prom, pretty boy. I said help him steal guns. I think that should be fairly simple.”
