Axelle had her security, and they were intimidating. She went everywhere with a pack of Archangels.

They looked mean.

Because they were.

As she entered the nursing facility, the night watchman headed their way, and she could see her security move closer.

“You can’t be here,” the man said. “Visiting hours are…”

Then, he saw their guns.

Axelle held up her badge.

“Director of the FBI,” she said. “Maybe you’ve seen me on TV.”

The man blinked.

He had.

“Director?” he asked, but was cut off before he could say anything else.

Axelle took control.

“I need you to get me to room one eighteen, and get the nursing staff to join me.”

The man nodded and hauled ass to get what she asked for without questioning it.

Sariel laughed.

He was the biggest Archangel.

“Uh, that was easy,” he stated.

Well, it wasn’t done yet.

“Remiel, as soon as we can extract the woman, I want her in the limo with Gabby. Say nothing about where we’re going. Make something up.”

He nodded.

“Absolutely, Director.”

As the nursing staff headed their way, with the security guard, Axelle did her thing.

She’d been CIA.

This was a walk in the park.

“Madam Director, what can we do for you?” the one nurse asked.

She read her name tag.

“Sarah, we have a court order for Ms. Dubois. She’s to be moved temporarily. Her daughter is a CIA agent, and she’s in danger.”

The woman gasped.

“Oh, no. That’s terrible. She’s such a nice lady. She was just here two weeks ago visiting.”

Axelle smiled.
