I watched as she sauntered over to where her jeans were. She dropped them to the floor on purpose and bent to pick them up, giving me a perfect view of her ass.
“Donna,” I growled in warning.
“Sorry, not sorry.”
Once she was fully clothed, we headed down to the kitchen.
“Although I’m hungry, there’s something else I’d much rather eat.”
I swore loudly, almost running to the kitchen. This woman was going to be too hot for me to handle.
“I’m blaming you. You were the one who turned me. Not my fault that now I can’t seem to get enough of your body.”
I was almost tempted to take her back upstairs when Jeanie opened the door to the kitchen.
“Ah, I’m glad you’re here. I’ve prepared Spanish tapas.”
“Sounds great,” Donna responded as she gave Jeanie a hug.
“I know just the thing for dessert.” I grinned.
“Ice cream?” Donna cocked her head to one side.
I nodded.
“I wish you’d let me use your ice cream maker. I have some wonderful ice cream and sorbet recipes,” Jeanie complained.
“Hey, don’t be mean. You let her use it. You said we could, remember?”
Donna was standing with one arm protectively held around Jeanie’s shoulder and a look of challenge in her eyes.
Mac laughed. “Better let them use it, son. You don’t want to get these women all fired up.”
I wasn’t reallythatprotective over my latest gadget. And if it brought a smile to the ladies’ faces, how could I refuse?
“Okay.” I held my hands up in mock surrender. “You guys win. Just don’t break it, okay?”
They laughed and both flung their arms around me.
“Thank you,” Donna murmured into the side of my neck.
“Anything for you, and Jeanie too, of course.”
After we’d eaten, Jeanie took Donna back to the annexe to look at dresses online. I thought they were going to do it the next day, as I had plans for Donna’s body that night. But I loved the friendship developing between the two of them and was happy to let them have their time.
“I’m going to check over the Harley. Want to come with me?” Mac asked.
“Sure.”
I was about to follow him out when my mobile rang. It was Luca.
“Hey, bro. What’s up?”
“How’s it going with your lady?”
I smiled, even though Luca couldn’t see me. “Well, we’re now mated for life. Things are freaking awesome.”
“Yeah, we knew it must have happened because Clement has already arranged the ball for next Friday.”
