Bexley laughed before she was interrupted by a knock at the door.
“Who’s that?”
“It can only be security; my parents don’t exactly knock. Wait around the corner,” Alex instructed, kissing her forehead.
“Alex, I’m basically naked.”
“I know.” Alex winked at her. “Donotput your clothes back on.”
Bexley rushed around the refrigerator out of sight as Alex opened the door.
“Your Royal Highness, Dr.Wood’s bags are still outside,” the guard said.
“Right. Sorry about that,” Alex replied. “I’ll just get them.”
“We can bring them in for you, Ma’am.”
“No!”
