“Yes. Talk to him. Date him. Fuck him. Marry him. None of the above.”

“We don’t approve of him.”

“What? Is this some kind of prank? Are you kidding me right now?”

“Does it look like we’re kidding, Holly?”

“You’re not, are you? Oh my gosh. You can’t tell me who to date, who to fuck—”

“The hell we can’t. We’re your brothers—”

“Stepbrothers, let’s get that right, and you have no jurisdiction over me at all. This is so freaking crazy. Are you three drunk?”

“We said what we had to say. If you don’t obey us, there are going to be consequences.”

“Well, how about you take your consequences and shove them where the sun doesn’t shine and leave me alone? If I want to date Greg, I will.

“And you know, I was actually thinking about marrying him, so I might do that as well.”

The elevator doors swung open, and Holly marched out of there hot as fire.

She didn’t know which was worse. Them bossing her around or them trying to take away the only thing that would help her get over them.

Greg.

Chapter Seven

Holly staggered backward the instant she stepped off the elevator. She was so livid and mad that she hadn’t paid much attention to how the elevator dropped them down to the grand hall. She just knew that as soon as the doors parted ways, she had to step out of the cubicle.

She couldn’t breathe being that close to them for that long. Her body couldn’t handle it anymore. She actually found that she needed Greg. His presence made it abundantly clear to her that, no, she really shouldn’t be having those thoughts and feelings for her stepbrothers because they were wrong.

She had to move on. And she had to move on with Greg. He was the answer. And now Kingston, Nolan, and Fletcher had basically ordered her to stay away from him.

Well, they didn’t know half of it. If she didn’t have Greg, she’d be lusting after them. How would they react if she told them that?

But when she stepped off the elevator, the scene before her was not one she would have expected in all her life.

An usher, dressed in a skintight leopard print, welcomed her and offered her a mask, which she took automatically. She had just put it on her face when she heard Caroline and Robbie calling out to them.

“You finally got here,” Caroline shouted, dressed in a black leather bridal dress. Well, it was a stunning gown, to say the least. She drew Holly in for a big hug.

“Well, wow, Holly. I knew you were hiding a banging body underneath your boring work clothes.”

Robbie, dressed in a black leather suit... but with his ass sticking out, he hugged her next.

“It’s good to see you, Holly,” Robbie said, his eyes twinkling with happiness.

“Same, and congratulations to you, too,” Holly said, meaning it. She was, however, glad when Caroline pulled her away, and Robbie kept the three of them occupied. She was so mad that she didn’t want to seethemthe whole night.

“Okay, but what is this?” Holly asked, looking around. “It looks like a sex dungeon, Caroline.” With red and black decor, the entire hall was decorated with cages, whips, floggers, and contraptions Holly had never seen in her life before.

“That’s because the theme issex dungeon, my dear.”

“Seriously?” Holly asked incredulously.

“Yes, and wait until the party really starts,” she said, handing her a glass of champagne. “Drink up; you’re going to need it.”

Holly didn’t doubt that. They spent more time catching up, and Holly was glad she came. Caroline was still a good friend.
