“You are so crazy,” he growls and then he massages my back and neck until I’m stretching like a cat against him.

“Crazy about you.”

“Cheesy,” he grins but the look in his eyes is all proud, confident male. That man that I first met? The one who was worried and angry all the time? He’s gone.

In his place is a happy, content man with love in his heart and his eyes. A love that matches the love in mine.

We’re two halves of the same whole. Two people who fought our way out of horrible situations, devastating tragedies and made our way to each other.

If everyone out there has that one perfect match, I found mine. Franklin is my destiny and I’m his. Yin and yang. His dark to my light and my dark to his light, surrounding and protecting each other for the rest of our lives.

EPILOGUE ONE

CASSIDY

“Let’s go,baby girl. Time to get you home.” Frank’s soft voice catches my attention and I smirk at him.

“I’m working, Frank. Just a few more minutes,” I wheedle.

“Not gonna happen. The doc said that you need to rest more. Do you want to get put on bed rest for the rest of your pregnancy?”

“No,” I grumble and shuffle my feet.

“That’s right. So you be a good girl and come with daddy.”

Frowning at him, I narrow my eyes. “Daddy? Are you kidding me? You think that’s gonna get me out of here?”

His smirk makes me want to bust out laughing but one thing I’ve learned about Frank over the last year, he doesn’t kid about my rest and my health.

The man keeps a damn journal to make sure that I’m taking breaks and drinking water. Hell, he even marks how many times a week we have sex!

The man’s a psycho. But a psycho that loves me and would kill for me. The best kind of psycho.

So I forgive him a lot. Doesn’t mean I’m not gonna give him shit.

“You need your rest. Let’s go, princess.”

“Princess?” Yikes, my pussy twitches at the name.

And the bastard knows it. His full lips twitch and he eyes me happily.

His broad shoulders are relaxed, his easy grin replacing the scowl he wore the first time I met him. One year later, a runaway wedding to Vegas and the man’s as happy as a clam.

But he grasps my arm and tugs me after him. “Come on. Your little helper has this. You need to rest.”

I turn back and wave good-bye to the others. “I’ll see you tomorrow, guys.”

And I let him drag me out the door. Not like I can really stop him. Course, Franklin would never hurt me. The man’s a pussycat.

I smile to myself when I think about pussies and Frank groans, “Again?”

“What?” My innocent words don’t fool him.

“You think I don’t know what that look means, woman?” He points his thick finger at me and grunts.

“You don’t want to fuck me, Frank?”

“Yeah, you know that’s not it,” he snorts and his turquoise eyes sparkle wildly with desire. “You need your rest. You’re only a month away from having the baby.”
