Liam met us as we parked a few blocks from where the girl lived. It was a nice two-story house. No doubt his father’s money bought it.

“Troy said that there were only two guards on the premises. Probably didn’t want to alert the neighbors with his personal army. One is positioned at the front and one at the back,” Eli said, showing me on his tablet where they stood.

Silas and Liam looked over his shoulder, taking note of everything.

“We can take care of them silently, get the girl out of there, and give you a clear path in,” Eli told me.

I hummed.

“See what happens when you keep your temper checked,” Silas said, nudging Eli's shoulder causing him to grin.

“Let’s go,” I said pushing the door of the SUV.

I didn’t want to waste any more time. Alexsei’s burrowed time had run out. He would die tonight by my hands at the order of my wife.

My brothers and Liam walked ahead of me, as I stayed back with the men that I ordered to stay on stand-by in case we needed them.

It was seconds until Silas gave me the signal and like the pavement was hot, I made my way to the house.

I looked at Silas as he wiped his knife free of the blood that he used to slit the throat of one of the guards.

“All yours, boss,” he said smirking.

I got on my knees, picking the lock as quietly as I could before slowly pushing the door wide, not wanting to ruin the perfect cover my brothers provided for me.

Taking my gun from its holster, I let it lead my way as I passed the kitchen and the living room. There were lights in both rooms but they were empty.

Walking up the stairs, my gun pointed at the banister, I heard what sounded like moans; a woman’s own.

The fucker was getting his dick wet.

I let her loud moans act as my compass as I walked the hall when I felt a hand on my shoulder causing me to tense.

“It’s just me,” Liam said.

“Shit,” I hissed at him as I continued to what was probably the bedroom.

With my hand on the doorknob, I turned it and pushed the door wide, my gun immediately finding its target; Alexsei’s head.

At our presence, the young girl screamed and jumped from Alexsei’s lap, trying to cover herself from us while he tried to reach for his gun that was on the bedside table.

I shot next to the lamp that illuminated the black metal, the bullet lodging in the wall, “I won’t miss twice.”

Looking at me, he raised his hands and I beckoned for the girl to go.

She grabbed a shirt that Liam gave her and ran out of the room leaving Alexsei to face us alone.

“I’ve been looking for you, Alexsei.”

“Not hard enough,” he said, smirking at his smart response.

“I see that.”

Liam moved to Alexsei and began to tie his hands and feet to the bedposts. He had no choice but to oblige as I kept my gun pointed at his head.

Any sudden moment and I would shoot him dead center despite how it would grant him the pleasure of a quick death; something he did not deserve.

Once he was restrained like Michael was, I put my gun in the back of my slacks and walked to him, putting my jacket on the chair that sat in the corner as I folded the sleeves of my shirt to my elbow.
