"You must be Maeve," she exclaims with excitement in her voice, walking toward me.
My butterflies appear. "I am."
She pulls me into a hug, beaming. "I'm Arianna. It's so nice to meet you. Tynan, why have you been hiding her from us?"
He grins. "Because I knew you'd want to be besties. Probably tell a lot of lies about me."
She laughs. "I do have some stories, don't I?"
"Aye," he affirms, then he slaps the other man's hand, and says, "This is Killian."
"Hello, lass." He kisses me on the cheek.
The four of us engage in small talk for a few minutes and then Arianna asks me, "Do you want to get out of here?"
"Where do ya want to go?" I question.
Her eyes light up. "Shopping?"
I hesitate. "Shopping?"
"Yeah. We're in New York," she chirps.
Killian groans. "That's going to cause another dent in my bank account."
"Oh, shush it," she orders.
Tynan reaches into his pocket and hands me a credit card, stating, "I've been meaning to give ya this."
I glance at it. It has my name and the Visa logo on it. I take it and joke, "Thanks. How much do I get to spend?"
He locks eyes with me. "Whatever ya want. Do ya not remember our deal?"
Surely, he didn't give me unlimited access to his money?
I look at him in confusion.
"I'm a man of my word, lass." He kisses me and rises. "Killian, I think we've got business to attend to."
"Aye, we do," Killian states, kissing Arianna on the cheek.
Tynan gives me another peck and pats my ass. "Have fun."
Arianna grabs my arm. "We'll take my driver."
She sweeps me through the house and outside, where an SUV waits.
"How'd ya make that magically appear?" I question.
She laughs. "Killian would have texted him as we were walking out."
"Of course he would've. He's just like Tynan," I claim.
She beams and puts her arm around me as we walk down the steps. "Yeah, they are pretty similar."
The driver opens the door, and we both get in. He shuts the door, goes to the driver's side, and slides inside. He turns on the engine.
Arianna closes the divider window. "So tell me everything. How did you and Tynan meet?"
