I blurt out, "I don't like that place."

"Oh?" she questions.

Da once had to go there and pay a debt, but I won't admit it to her. I look at Tynan for help and repeat, "I don't like it."

"Next," he says, tugging my chair closer to his and sliding his arm around me.

"What about the AC Marriott?" Amelia asks.

"No, we're not getting married in a Marriott," Tynan says.

"What's wrong with the Marriott?" I question.

"It's a Marriott."

"So? Is it snobby?"

Tynan grunts. "No. But it's not good enough."

Confusion fills me again. In my world, I could only dream of staying at a Marriott. It looks luxurious to me.

Amelia interjects, "If ya want to look at it, ya might change your mind. This one is located right on the river, and it's really close to the city center. It's actually a great venue."

"No," Tynan says.

"That's kind of uppity," I state. The Marriott sounds nice to me.

"We can do better. What else do ya have?" he questions.

Amelia shrugs, flips the page, then points to it. "The Titanic Belfast Museum is always in demand. It's steeped in rich history, and they have one of the most famous staircases in the world that you can have pictures on."

I wrinkle my nose. "Isn't that kind of cheesy?"

Tynan chuckles. "Agreed. We're not doing it there either."

Frustration fills Amelia's expression, but it quickly disappears. She flips the page and asks, "What about the Merchant Hotel? It's five-star, total luxury, and in a great location in the city. Right in the heart of it, as a matter of fact. Plus, they have amazing steps going into the building for photos. They're iconic and ideal for an intimate or larger reception."

"We're having an intimate affair," Tynan declares.

Relief hits me. The last thing I want is hundreds of people at this event that he's insisting we have.

She nods. "Good to know. So what do ya think about the Merchant Hotel, then?"

I look at Tynan. "Put it on the maybe list."

He agrees. "Okay. What else ya got?"

She flips the page. "Well, there's the Cabaret Supper Club. It has grand chandeliers, plush furnishings, glamour, and opulence. This really is the place to be."

We study the pictures.

"Add to the list," Tynan orders.

She writes it down on her notepad and points to the next photo in her book. "There's also The Treehouse. I mean, if ya want to be more relaxed—"

"Relaxed is good," I interject.

She beams. "Well, The Treehouse is very relaxed. It has a heated outdoor venue, and the cool part is the roof is retractable, so if it rains, ya don't have to worry about it. And it's great if ya really like to party."
