“You had it soundproofed?” Aidan frowned.

“Trust me.” Fletcher cast his eyes around the men. “Get ahead of the game and get it done now.”

“I think I’m good for at least another ten years.”

Aidan laughed.

Noted. He didn’t want kids.

Which was not relevant to her.

Olivia shook her head. “Let’s go. See you all at breakfast.”

“Golf,” Logan said. “Tee off at ten a.m.”

“We’re heading to Lanikai Beach for SUP yoga, if you want to join us?” Emma said to Olivia. “No pressure.”

The stand-up paddleboarding wasn’t Lily’s idea. She wanted to go shopping after hearing how great it was in Hawaii.

Emma said they needed to do a group activity, and that shopping with billionaires was not something she wanted Lily to suffer through after having her own nightmare experience in the Hamptons.

“Oh, yeah. Gotcha,” Lily had replied during their phone call about it, remembering her friend's visit to Long Island. “I’ll wait until after the wedding.”

She had an extra day on Oahu, so would sneak off to the outlets then.

Lily glanced down at her sundress. It certainly wasn’t designer. In fact, she was pretty sure it was from Target.

Or maybe she’d splashed out on a Gap dress.

Hard to remember when it was over five years old.

Which begged the question: why was Aidan even interested in her? When she glanced over at him again, he was sipping his whisky and watching her.

Emma leaned against the bar, distracting her. “How’s your foot?”

“It’s fine. Aidan was just being dramatic.”

“He does that,” Emma laughed. “Think you can SUP tomorrow?”

Lily frowned.

“Harper said I need to be careful it doesn’t get infected. But I should be fine,” she replied, kicking out her leg, and they both stared at the bandage. “I think she has a point.”

“Yeah.” Emma touched her chin and hummed.

The next minute, her foot was back in Aidan’s hands. “If it does, we’ll get you some antibiotics. The saltwater will be good for it.”

Lily felt her face flush once more.

His touch had her squeezing her thighs together and when their eyes connected, the blaze she saw in those green globes told her he was well aware of what he was doing.

And he was just as affected.

Nope. Brother-in-law. Can’t go there.

She tugged her foot back and nervously played with her butterfly pendant.

“Aidan has a point,” Emma said as Logan and Daniel joined them.
