Then along came Aidan.

Never had she reacted to a man the way she had him. In fact, Lily wasn’t exactly sure what had happened that night.

But she did know she was aching to see him and find out if he would deliver on his promise. And terrified he would.

He was way too much for her.

Too rich.

Too powerful.

Too erotic.

Too sexual.

He’d probably forgotten all about her. It would be better if he kept his husky voice and magical fingers to himself.

FORTY MINUTES LATER, Lily pushed her trolley through the doors of the airport and heard a squeal. Her face broke into a smile as Emma came running toward her.

“You’re here!” Emma cried, wrapping her arms around her.

“Oh my God, it’s so hot,” Lily cried, fanning her face with her hand. “How do you have a tan already?”

“I’m getting married. It’s fake.” Emma said, taking control of the trolley. “Plus, we’ve been here a few days already. I’ve been trying to keep out of the sun, so I don’t get any tan lines.”

“If that’s your greatest worry in life, sweetheart, then you’re doing well,” a male’s voice said.

Lily glanced ahead of them to where Logan was leaning against a concrete pillar with one hand in the pocket of his long shorts.

“Hey, Lily.” He grinned and walked over to plant a kiss on her cheek.

“You both look so tropical,” Lily said, glancing down at her Target capri jeans and T-shirt, which she was eager to rip off.

It was a lot hotter than she’d expected.

A car pulled up beside them a second later and a man climbed out and began loading her luggage into the trunk.

Ah, that’s right. Billionaires.

They climbed into the white SUV.

“I can’t believe I’m in Hawaii. And you’re getting married,” Lily said excitedly as the car pulled away from the curb.

Logan reached out and took Emma’s hand. The two of them smiled at each other and Lily was sure it was one of those moments where the world disappeared and no one else existed.

She’d never had that.

Well, except for that moment when Aidan’s fingers had—

No.Don’t think about that.

“So we have a huge week ahead,” Emma said. “Tonight, we have the cocktail party on the rooftop at Altitude Bar just before sunset. So, when we get you checked in, you can just unpack and relax.”

Lily was looking forward to seeing the Dufort Hotel. It was one of the most luxurious in the world-famous tropical location and owned by Logan's cousins.

“Everything is on account, so order room service or whatever you need while we are here,” Logan said, leaning forward to catch her eye. “We don’t want you worrying about anything like that, okay?”
