“We don’t have time and live in different parts of the country so I will just have to fantasize about all the things you would’ve taught me,” she said, kissing a line across his square jaw.
Aidan could play the part of Superman with that jaw. Tall, broad, handsome, and with a smile that melted panties. And that was before you reached his sparking green eyes.
“I have a jet.” He shrugged, running his hand over her butt.
Lily froze.

What did he mean?
To continue this after they left Hawaii? Surely he didn’t mean that. They’d just said how different they were. It would never work, and she couldn’t just let him pay for everything because she didn’t have the money to do the things he could.

“Don’t do that,” Lily said, moving to get off the bed.
“Do what?” Aidan asked.
“Talk about this like it’s going to continue when we leave Hawaii. It won’t and you know it.”
His face hardened. “Why? Because of Matt?” Aidan said, then cursed. “Forget it. You’re right.”
Aidan dropped a hard kiss on her lips and climbed off the bed.
“I better get packed. See you at the airport, peaches.”
Lily lay there bewildered as he tugged on his shorts and shirt, then shot her a halfhearted smile and walked out of the penthouse.
Just left.
