“Harrison just got the call. He’s bringing them up.”

“Thanks.”

The elevator in their foyer opened. Petra took Stormy’s place with Emery before looking at me. “You know there’s an elevator, right?”

“Why would I need one when I can race this girl?”

Soft male laughter reached me a second before Harrison came in, followed by all my Alphas. Tension snapped between us as all of their focus fell directly on me. It had only been a few hours, and Imissedthem. Holy fuck.

Stormy focused on the newcomers, going to check them out in the way only a cat could do. She sniffed them one by one, before stopping in front of Roman. Her entire body went still, and she watched him intently—he looked right back at her.

Like she’d found what she needed, she went forward and shoved her head against his legs, leaning her whole weight on him as she rubbed all over his jeans and twisted in a figure eight through his knees.

“I think she likes you.”

“I like her,” he said.

Emery introduced himself, all the guys doing the kind of male greetings they did, while I hugged Petra and Eva. “Thank you. I needed some girl time.”

“This much testosterone will do that,” Eva said. “We need to make a schedule for the four of us now that we all have packs.”

“I’d like that.”

“Yes,” Petra agreed. “Let’s do that. But first… Harrison, Lo needs Atwood Security’s help.”

I glared at her, getting a grin in return.

“And why does she need it?”

Petra stared at me long enough that I wilted. Gabriel came over and stole me away. “Show him.”

Taking out my phone, I unlocked it, pulled up Craig’s texts, and handed the phone to Harrison. He scrolled, looking at me and Gabriel briefly before back at the phone. “I see.”

I winced, fighting the urge to hide. Having made the mistake and having people know about it were two different things. Gabe kissed my temple. “Stop it.”

“What?”

“You know what.” A soft whine came out of me and he kissed me again. “You’re all right, little one.”

Harrison fixed his eyes on me. “Are you all right with me forwarding his number and these messages to myself?”

“Yeah. What are you going to do?”

“Nothing yet. But I’d like to look into him a little.”

Jace stepped forward. “We appreciate that.”

“Unfortunately it’s more common than I’d like,” Harrison said. “Some are worse than others. We’ll see if he’s one that has bite to go with the bark.”

Finally, he handed my phone back to me.

“Let us know,” Gabriel said. “Cost isn’t an issue.”

“I don’t charge for things like this,” he said with a smile. “It’ll take a few days.”

“Thank you.”

Stormy was still loving on Roman, with him now on the floor petting her. I couldn’t help but smile. She didn’t need words to communicate with him.
