"You two dudes," I pointed at them, "are pussy whipped.Ion the other hand have a dick whipped woman."
Both of them laughed it up. "Oh, okay, sure she is. I can't wait until I see you two together again, and then we'll see just who has whom wrapped around their finger," Dalton said, slapping me on the shoulder.
"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up, but I'm the one in the driver's seat here gentlemen, you'll see."
Chuckling again, Slade said, "okay, if you say so." Then turning serious he brought up a subject my mind wanted to eliminate. "I hear you have some competition where Sloane is concerned, though. What's that all about? Gage said that some asshole had her pinned up against the car when he pulled up?"
Anger rose up inside of my blood at the mention of that guy touching her. "Yeah, Jared. It took everything I had not to go after that piece of shit, too. He also kissed her."
Sitting up in his chair, Dalton looked likehewas going to beat Jared’s ass himself? "Are you fucking kidding me?"
"Wish I was, and he told her he's not giving up either. Gage also said he referred to her as hisgirlfriendwhen they had never even made it that far in their friendship in the first place."
Slade shook his head at this news. "Well, all of us here in this room know what that's like when another man messes with or touches our women, so if you need anything, just ask."
"Including someone to bail you out of jail for kicking the shit out of him." Dalton added.
"Thanks. I just might need that." Knowing I needed to let the two of them in on the murder at the club, I changed the subject. "I got a call from Detective Hamilton. Another woman was beaten and strangled to death at the club last night."
"Shit. What the hell is the matter with this asshole? He is one sick puppy that needs to be put down, and fast." Slade replied.
"Is there anything we can do to help." Dalton asked.
"I spoke with Seth, the club owner this morning, and I'm heading over there at one o'clock today to see about putting in some hidden cameras that no one else will hopefully know about to catch this guy before he hits again."
"Sounds good, need either of us to go with you?"
"Nah man, I'll take care of it. If I need anything else I'll shoot you a call later." After we had finished up, I got up and strode out of Slade's office and back to mine to finish up everything I needed to get done before I headed over to the club.

Sloane
This week at work seemedto just fly by and it was the weekend again already. Archer and I had been together every night, whether at my place or his, and it had been pure heaven waking up in his arms every morning and giving myself over to him every night. The sex we had seemed to climb higher and higher each time beyond any expectations I could have ever imagined. He had shown me so much I would have never thought I would try or enjoy, but knowing he always had my safety in the forefront of his mind made me able to open myself up completely to the possibilities of pleasure he always seemed to bring me. But through all this bliss, I could tell something was wrong, and he wasn’t telling me the truth again whenever I questioned him about it.
