“Anyway, I need you to look into the Polish. I’ve just had a meeting with them, and I have a feeling I can’t shake about them. They agreed far too fast to all our propositions.”

“Spoilsport! The Polish may be in a bit of bother with the Irish. They know that working with you also brings an alliance of sorts. I think they are waging on this deterring the Irish from acting. You are, after all, the biggest fish in this pond Nikki.”
“What have they done to attract the Irish’s attention?”
“Oh, just one of the brothers may have dipped his dick in an Irish pussy he shouldn’t have. Liam and Lorcan are not happy at all! Sloane is their cousin and now has a bun in the oven.”

“Jakub. Aleksander and Szymon are furious with him. They sent him into hiding months ago with their two sisters. So, I suspect that’s why Aleksander has agreed to your terms so easily.”
“Shit, I’d say. Thanks for the intel. I’m going to need you to keep an eye on the Irish and Polish for me. I’m a man of my word, so the agreement still stands and they have an army. I’m going to need extra men if I’m to take on Isaak and Mikhail. Are you any nearer to finding them?”
“Like I said before, I am tracking Isaak as we speak. Once I have a location, you’ll be the first to know. Mikhail is still at his mansion, but he deployed a big influx of soldiers yesterday. Last I checked they were on their way to the airport. I’m tracking the flight logs as we speak. The Irish and Polish are my next big job, so if you would just fuck off, I will be able to get on with it. I might even have time to sleep for an hour or two.”
“Are you sure I can leave you with Lev, without you two killing each other?”
“Isn’t that the excitement of it all, not knowing whether you’ll have a best friend when you wake up in the morning?”
“Leave him alone Ida, for fuck’s sake. What is the matter with you, I need him on top form so don’t wind him up over Sam will you? Just try to be nice to people while you are here, it’s only for a short time. Oh and you are due at a fitting on Friday for your bridesmaid dress with us, along with Sam and Valentina. Papa and Dimitri will be meeting us there and then we have a meal for just the family, to introduce Valentina before the wedding.”
“Oh, how exciting… not. What the fuck do you think you are doing trying to put me in a dress Kai? That’s a big fat no from me, but the meal might be fun. I can’t wait for Papa and Dimitri’s reaction to Valentina.”
“Everyone will be on their best behaviour, do you understand? I’m not having this shit; I’ve got enough on my plate. Oh, you will be wearing a dress, Ida.”
