“Ah, you were the one yelling earlier. Guess he ain’t dicking you right?”

Sage laughed and nodded. “Truth.”

“You like to party?”

“Fuck, yeah.”

Axel waved to the bartender and pointed to his beer, then signalled for another two. “Let’s have a beer and hit the road. I got just what you need.”

Sage licked her lips provocatively (she hoped) and nodded.

The bartender slammed two bottles on the counter and Sage reached for one.

Her heart was racing so fast that she worried she might pass out. Instead of letting her nerves get the best of her, she took a swig of the beer. She didn’t miss the way Axel stared at her mouth.

Then her earpiece crackled, and Sonny’s voice interrupted her anxious thoughts.

“I gotta use the washroom first,” she added. “Meet you out front?”

Axel nodded and Sage slid past him, rubbing up against him. He cupped her ass and gave a painful squeeze. She’d need to take a hot shower once she was done with this job to scrub off the grossness.

Sauntering to the back of the building, she located the washroom and stepped inside.

It was filthy but served her purpose. She locked the door.

She tapped her earring. “I’ve made contact, his name is Axel. We’re leaving in a few minutes.”

“We’ve got your tracker on. They have a gated passcode so pay attention when he’s entering the numbers. As soon as you’re alone with him, slip one of the packets we gave you into his drink and wait sixty seconds. Then you should be good to go.”

“What if he wants some of his crew to join in?”

“You’ve got enough supply. Do what you need to. Once you get the info you need from him, take his phone, take as many pictures as you can. Padraig probably has his own place separate from the clubhouse. If you can get near it, great. Then get the hell out. Me, Dante, and Wyatt will be waiting just outside the property.”

“Got it.”

“You got this, Sage. As Avery would say, go be a badass bitch.”

Then her earpiece went silent.

She washed her hands and headed back out to the bar.

Winding her way through the crowd, she stepped outside and spotted Axel on his bike.

Gathering up her courage, she walked over to him, making sure to put an extra bit of sway in her step. She ignored the leering looks and incessant cat calls from the other bikers.

“Hurry up,” Axel grunted at her and spit on the ground.

What a prince charming…not.

She pasted on a big fake grin and straddled his bike, sliding up against him. Sage tapped her earring quickly, making it look like she was tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear.

“I’m ready.”

Then she placed her arms around Axel.

Sage hoped to fuck that Sonny heard her and they would be following.

Everything about this step in the plan scared her like nothing else.
