“What would you like to do?” Lincoln asked. “Do you want to stay with Lucas? Would you feel more comfortable at my place?” He lowered his voice as he leaned forward. “Whatever you want to do. Don’t feel pressured.”

Nash glanced at Lucas; he still stood at the foot of the bed with his arms crossed.

“Nash,” Lincoln said quietly. “Just because you're interested in him doesn’t mean that he gets to demand you stay at his place. You get to make your own decisions.”

“It’s not…” Fuck, Lincoln didn’t know! “It’s not like that anymore. We…well, the three of us…we’re together?” He didn’t mean to make it sound like a question.

“Since when?” Lincoln demanded.

Nash shrugged. “Couple of nights ago. Before I got hurt.”

Rocking back on his heels, Lincoln grinned. “Yeah?”

Oh God, his face was hot.

“Was it good?” Lincoln teased.

Nash blushed even harder.

“You’re turning all red there, buddy.”

“Daddy! Stop teasing Nash!” Caden said from Nash’s other side.

“Oh, baby,” Lincoln said with a laugh. “After all the shit he gave me? No. Nope, he’s getting what he deserves.”

“I’m hurt!” Nash reminded his best friend.

“Uh-huh,” Lincoln replied.

Crap. Nash might deserve the teasing. He’d had so much fun when Lincoln and Caden had first gotten together. In his defense, Lincoln had needed the push to claim his boy.

“Seriously, though,” Lincoln said, “you need to be comfortable. I know how you worry—”

“Do you think it’s a bad idea?” Nash didn’t look at Lucas or Adam as he asked his question softly. They would still hear him, but he needed his partner’s opinion. He trusted what Lincoln thought.

“I think it’s actually a brilliant solution,” Lincoln told him. “Lucas will be close to help you. Adam, Sam, and Caden will be across the street and stop by to keep you company on their breaks. Plus, it will allow you to spend some time with Lucas and Adam which we both know you want.”

“What if—” Nash hated that he had doubts.

“If you want to leave at any minute, no matter what time, or what I’m doing, I’ll come get you. I swear.”

Nash wanted to agree to go home with Lucas so badly. Was it terrible of him to want Lucas and Adam with him even if he knew that they would soon get tired of him? Nash wanted every second that he could get with his two men. Still, he avoided looking at Lucas and Adam, fearing their reactions to his conversation with Nash.

“You don’t have to go with them,” Lincoln told him.

“I want to,” Nash admitted. “Just…”

“Scared,” Lincoln finished for him.

“Yeah.”

Leaning forward, Lincoln’s wide shoulders blocked Nash’s gaze from seeing anyone else in the room. “I think it will be good for you. If this is what you want. It’s okay to be scared or nervous. This is a big step. But, Nash, they aren’t going to get tired of you. You are not too much for them or for any of us. I’ll support whatever you want.”

Reaching out, he grasped Lincoln’s hand in his and squeezed before he nodded. Lincoln moved back but didn’t release Nash’s hand.

Nash peered up at Lucas. He hadn’t moved from his spot at the end of the bed, but he was watching Nash with a smile.

“I’m proud of you, boy,” Lucas told him.
