She looked at her weird. Why would Hedda come here and not have anything to talk about?

“So why did he say you wanted to talk to me?” Storm said.

“I knew you probably needed to talk to someone,” Hedda said. “I mean, you called him Daddy several times when you were in pain and when you were on medicine. Thought you might need someone to listen and talk to.”

Tears formed in her eyes, but she quickly blinked several times to get rid of them. Storm had never had anyone do this before and it was so touching.

“That's so sweet of you,” she softly said.

“Don’t get fucking used to it,” Hedda laughed. “Now, how are you feeling about the whole calling him Daddy?”

Storm took a deep breath. “I know I called him Daddy. It felt right then, I think, and it feels right now. I’m just worried it was the whole moment and I don’t actually feel it.”

“Are you bothered by what he does for work? He has killed people,” Hedda asked.

“I know Miles would never hurt me. I don’t think it bothers me and I may be a twisted and bad person for saying that.” Storm chuckled. “I just know he doesn’t kill for pleasure, but because the person was bad.”

It made sense in her head, but she didn’t know if she was saying it correctly. She had thought about this for the past two days while Miles, Daddy, wasn’t around her. She tried to come up with all the pros and cons of everything and if it truly bothered her.

She didn’t feel disgusted when she thought about him killing people. Storm knew he was there to keep her safe. He wanted to protect her and knew he didn’t just go out and kill people because he wanted to.

Granted, Storm didn’t know a lot about what he actually did. He hadn’t explained anything, and she didn’t know if she wanted to know everything. Some things were better kept a secret instead of traumatizing someone.

Hedda opened her mouth the same time the window broke into tiny pieces. Screams filled the room as they saw someone jump through the window and stand up.

Terror ran through Storm’s body as she watched Richard stand up to his full height. Before she could do anything, he lunged at her.

Her whole body froze as his hands wrapped around her upper body and hauled her up.

“Shut up, bitch,” he said, pointing a gun to her head.

Tears formed in her eyes as she realized the situation. She was going to die. There was no way out of this.

Richard had said he was going to come for her again if she made it out alive and here he was, making good on his promise.

“You don’t need to do this,” Hedda said.

Storm looked over and saw Hedda was standing up. Her skin was pale and she looked absolutely terrified.

“Shut up!” Richard yelled.

“You really don’t need to do this,” she spoke again. “You don’t need to do anything rash. If you leave right now, you could get away and not be hurt.”

Richard chuckled, shaking Storm’s whole body. She tried to stay calm, but her body was shaking.

“Please,” she whimpered. “Just let me go.”

He pushed the gun harder against her head. She winced as the pain intensified from where the gun was digging into her head.

“We won’t tell anyone it was you,” Hedda said. “Just let Storm go and you can leave.”

“No,” he said. “Now shut up!”

His grip tightened around her body, making it harder for her to breathe. She didn’t know what to do in this situation.

A gun was to her head.

His arms were wrapped so tight around her body she could barely breathe.
