The mystery man opens the door and holds out his hand for me to grab. He helps me out of the car with the biggest smile plastered on his face. “Nice to meet you, Taurus, I’m Ru’s father, Michael Wén, you can call me Mick.” He greets and boy is he stunning, must be a family trait. I am surprised he is being so kind to me, considering I’m dating his son and was engaged to his grandson.
When Ru gets out of the car, he gets our bags and calls for his father in Mandarin. His father helps him with the bags and directs me inside.
“Guess who’s here!” Mick shouts into the void.
I expect Ms. Young to come outside, but the first person I see is Greyson.
Chapter 15
Ru
From the look on my mother’s face, she must have not told my father about how our relationship came to be. Otherwise, she would have warned us not to come here.
“Dad, on second thought it would be better if Taurus and I stay somewhere else. We don’t want to intrude, besides a woman needs her privacy.” I lie.
“Son, we have several rooms, no one will hear you fucking.” He chuckles as he sets the bags down.
My mother slaps my father’s arm and Taurus slaps mine. “Don’t be rude.” She whispers.
“Do you want to stay? With him here?” I whisper back.
“No, but I don’t want to upset your dad.”
I run my fingers through my hair and look at Greyson as he glares back into my eyes, but then his eyes soften as he looks at Taurus.
“Come, Taurus. You must tell me everything about yourself.” Father says as he holds out his arm for Taurus to grab as he leads her down the hall.
“Why are you here?” I ask Greyson, now that Taurus and my father are gone.
“I needed to get away. It’s hard for a man to sleep when he knows this father is fucking the love of his life.” Greyson growls.
“If you didn’t hide her away from your family and fill her head with lies, you probably would still be fucking her.” I retort.
Greyson takes a step closer, “Is that what you tell yourself, so you don’t have to admit that you took advantage of her at her lowest? I mean do you think she would have even looked your way if I never hurt her?”
“If you truly paid attention to the person Taurus is, you would know that’s a lie, but if it helps, keep feeding your mind sweet lies.”
“Watch your mouths!” My mother interrupts. “The both of you need to stop this. If you both genuinely care for Taurus, you will not act this way for the remainder of the trip. You must not tell your father; I will explain it to him.”
I walk past my mother and take the bags to an empty guest room. Then, I go to the back to find my father showing Taurus the garden and her listening attentively.
“Dad, please don’t bore her,” I say in Mandarin, and he flips me off.
Taurus laughs and he continues to tell her about the garden. He whispers something in her ear, and she whispers back and nods.
“Fuck off.” She says itveryclearly in Mandarin. Her gaze set on me fiercely.
Did she tell me to ‘fuck off? She will regret that when I leave an imprint of my hand on her ass. Just wait, Taurus. I’ll make excellent use of that dirty little mouth of hers.
Greyson
Taurus looks…different. She cut her hair and now her curls only reach up to her shoulders. She has the glow to her that she had on the day of our engagement party before everything. She has gotten a bit thicker since I last saw her, and I pray she’s not pregnant. I don’t know what’s worse her being with my father or her being pregnant with my sibling.
