Austin leans against the counter with his legs crossed at the ankles and a mug of coffee in his grip. “I received news this morning.”

I twist on Felix’s lap to face Austin and the guys watch him too. “About?”

“The painting.”

Saint groans.

“The one that went into the water was a fake. A decoy. Valentine knew we were coming and moved it. But Carmichael got to it first.”

“Austin–” Saint says.

He holds up a hand. “But it’s okay. The only treasure that matters is in this room with us. Audrey, I could never live without you. I just wanted you guys to know that the painting is still out there in the world somewhere. That knowledge is enough for me.”

“I am a thief.”

Three resounding, “No!” echoes back at me. I grin. I know how to play the long game. Someday I’ll be in a position to get it back for him.

“I won’t put myself in danger,” I promise.

“Muffin, pretend you didn’t hear what Austin said,” Felix says into my ear.

I choke on a laugh. “Muffin?”

“You're right. Doesn’t make sense with your brownie scent.” He taps his chin. “What about donut? It is perfect, and I am as addicted to you as I am donuts.”

Austin snorts, and Saint laughs. This is my life, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else in this world. I’m finally an Omega in Paradise.

Epilogue

Audrey

Sin leans against the chain link fence of the fight ring, with the crowd around us growing louder as we wait for Saint’s fight to start. Felix wraps an arm around my waist as he and Austin carry on a conversation of their own with an associate.

Sin nods across the space at Carmichael, his step-sister, and a friend of Carmichael’s who looks like he is going to fight in the ring tonight too. “Do you remember him? From when we were teens?”

I shrug. Not really.

“He was a jerk.”

“Well, that jerk is the one that stole Austin’s painting. He’s having a party next weekend, you need to go and see if you can find it.”

He lifts a brow and glances back at them again. “I hate parties.”

“You party every night, you used to come home smelling like booze.”

“That’s different.”

“Is it?”

He rolls his eyes. "Who's the omega?"

"That's his step-sister, he keeps her close."

Sin hums.

"So will you do it?" I press.

"Of course I will. You are the reason I'm still here," he says with a half-hearted shrug.
