It’sbeenfivefuckinghours since her location disappeared from my tracking devices. I have no clue where the fuck she is in these woods; the last ping I received is where I find Colin’s car. I know he, out of the three of them, would never hurt her, but the fact that I do not have my eyes on her or one of my men has me sick to my stomach. I will have her. The bunny outside her window was a low blow for me, but I needed her to know I was watching. I needed her to know that her actions have consequences, and she will not go unpunished. I am her judge, jury, and executioner. I am her priest, and she will kneel before me and confess her sins. I may just forgive her, or I may make her repent on my cock that only aches for her.

Ifyouhadtoldme that Colin O’Brian, funny, sweet, hopeless romantic, was also the lumberjack type, I would have told you to get your head examined. But here we are in the middle of the woods, surrounded by trees, running rivers, nature, and calm, peaceful serenity. I feel more at home here than I have anywhere before. It calls to me.

“I figured you would like it out here,” Colin says as he puts the last rod in for our tent. “We loved coming out here, but I’ll admit, the nights always ended with the guys talking about the greatAbigail Burns. I was jealous that they got to experience a love like that so young. But now having met you,” The tent goes up, and he stands along with it, “it wasn’t so hard to do.”

I was unsure if Colin just admitted to me that he loved me or was talking about putting up the tent; however, I didn’t dare ask him.

“What do you want to do first?” I ask.

“Skinny dipping in the river?” He cocks his head and has the deadliest smirk I’ve ever seen on his face.

“My, my Col, is that how you treat a lady?” I say in a proper British tone.

Colin laughs, “I see your point. You're no lady.”

I jab at his arm, and he catches me, pulling me in close, whispering in my ear, “You're a temptress, and you've put a spell on me. Oh, how I will worship you and the ground you walk on.” He spins me out of his arms. “Want to get lunch?”

We make our way back to the road and Colin’s car, then continue on foot about a mile down to a small cabin diner. The walls are built from logs; it even has an old wooden stove in the center to keep the cabin warm. There is a man in a corner booth, a couple in another corner, and a family at the table next to us. It’s quaint and cozy and has the aroma of baked goods and pine.

“Colin!” A tiny woman comes shooting out from the back kitchen. Her blonde hair is in a tight top knot, and she is in an apron. Colin rises from his seat and hugs the woman.

“Aunt Cecelia! How are you?” He sits back down in his chair, still holding his Aunt's hand. “This is my girlfriend, Abigail.” He looks at me.

His girlfriend?

“Nice to meet you, Abigail! Anything you kids want, it's on the house.” She looks back to Colin, “It’s been a while, child. How's the family and that big-headed brother of mine?”

“Dad is good; he's gone a lot for work these days, and Mom is keeping busy with my brothers and sisters. How's business?”

“Oh, I can’t complain. Business is good.”

We order our food, and as we wait, Colin explains to me that this restaurant was his grandfather's cabin. He left it to his Aunt Cecelia, and Colin’s dad was outraged, so they stopped coming here. Col said that it was best that it went to her and not his father, who more than likely would have turned it into a Dollar store or some crap like that. His dad is not the sentimental type.

Once our delicious food arrived, we began to eat. Seriously, food this good should not be real. I gained the courage to ask, “Girlfriend?”

Colin puts his fork down and stares deep into my eyes, a slight smirk forming on his lips, “I claimed you as mine the moment I laid my eyes on you in class. There’s no escaping it, Abby.”

I can’t help but smile at the fact that Colin has wanted me from the moment he first saw me. He wanted me. Someone wants me. He said it with zero hesitation, and I had no clue where to go from there, so I just remained silent and finished my food.

Where do we go from here? I just had sex with Parker, his best friend, and the guilt sets in. Have I destroyed everything before it had a chance to even begin? How will he respond when he finds that out?

“So, you have brothers and sisters?” I ask to change the subject. Out of the three, I know the least about Colin. I just assumed he had the same shitty homelife as Parker and Ryan.

“Yeah. I’m one of seven,” he winces.

“Seven?” I ask, shocked.

“Yeah, I have two older brothers who moved away. I’m the oldest at home. I have two younger brothers and twin younger sisters.”

“I bet your home is never quiet or lonely,” I mumble.
