I sigh. “That’s omega territory. If we go in there, we break any and all trust we’ve built with her so far. Hali told us…”

And then I stop, angling my head toward the window.

I can hear the soft murmur of female voices now, and the second part of Hali’s sentence hits me. Mostly below my waist. “She said she’d convinced Everleigh to go swimming.”

Cian gulps audibly. “Swimming means a swimsuit. Or a bikini. We can see the pool from this window.”

“Watching her would be a terrible thing to do,” Kylian says.

We sit still for maybe two seconds, and then we explode out of our seats. We have our noses pressed against the window a split-second later.

“This is really wrong,” Cian says.

“Yup.” I angle my head so I can see the pool better.

Not that there’s much to see yet. Everleigh is standing beside the pool in a pink robe, dipping one toe in with her head twisted to her left. The back door entrance is that way, so she must be talking with Nancy since Hali left moments before.

Seconds later, Hali appears in a pair of cotton shorts, a black tank top, and bare feet.

“Why would Hali tell us Everleigh would be out there swimming? She knows we can see the pool from this window,” Cian says, keeping his voice down. There’s little chance Everleigh will hear us, but it never hurts to be careful.

As I watch Everleigh and Hali chatting and laughing together, I’m reminded of a strange sensation that’s been tugging on my subconscious for a while now. “I was leaving the gym yesterday morning, and I had a feeling someone was watching me.”

“Someone like who?” Kylian frowns at me, and then his expression clears. “Everleigh? You thinkEverleighwas watching you?”

“I’m in and out of that gym like clockwork. Who better to know it than Hali?” I ask.

Kylian furrows his brow. “So you think she told Everleigh where she could get a view of a sweaty half-naked man, and now she’s telling us about Everleigh? Why?”

“Equal opportunity ogling?” Cian shrugs.

I smother my laugh. “Well, I have no problem if Everleigh wants to see me sweaty. If she likes it, even better. I doubt it’s going to be as good as—”

Everleigh shrugs out of her robe.

I absorb her slender curves. Creamy peach skin. The dip in the base of her spine and how badly I want to explore that dip. Preferably with my tongue. And her ass… soft, sweet, and round. I have never wanted something the way I want to put my hands on Everleigh’s ass.

And then she reaches her hands up, tugs her hair out of her braid, and shakes her long, blonde hair out. It brushes her back, the swell of her ass, and it makes me want to fist it in my hands, bend Everleigh over, and take her that way.

“Jesus,” I breathe, “I’m never going to sleep right for the rest of my life.”

All my dreams are going to involve Everleigh, that bikini, and the things I want to do to her.

“This is really wrong,” Kylian breathes. Out of the corner of my eye, I catch him adjusting himself in his pants.

“Yep,” I agree, doing the same.

But we all press closer to the glass to see more of our mate’s beautiful body.

“I have never had so much motivation to not find someone in my life.” Cian never looks away from the beautiful woman who is ours and who might walk away from us one day soon. Unless we can convince her to stay. “And I donotwant to find out Everleigh has a mom she’ll leave us for. But I need to. I need to make her happy.”

“Yeah,” I agree.

Letting her go is going to feel terminal. We’ll drown ourselves in work if that happens. There will be no more quick fucks in beta clubs. No more scouting ballrooms, restaurants, or any public space for our elusive omega. We’d have found her. Found her and let her go.

There will never be anyone else for us because the woman we need, the woman we crave, and will always want is Everleigh.OnlyEverleigh.

“Any sign of the mystery woman in the blue uniform?” I ask as Everleigh dips one slender leg into the clear, blue water.
