Page 11 of His Innocent Mate

My hips take on a mind of their own and grind up into his face, which makes me feel scandalized. That my own body would betray me is an affront to everything I’ve been through.

But there’s no denying my ever-growing lust.

Tension builds, hot and heavy. Up until now, I didn’t even know that feelings like these existed. That this base act was actually pleasurable. That in the span of minutes, a man I loathed could turn into a man I crave.

“Come for me, baby,” Brock mutters as he swirls his tongue through my folds. “I need it.”

My mind goes blank as a furious rush engulfs me, pulling me into chaos.

“Brock!” I scream, my heels digging into his shoulders, my hands grabbing his hair.

He groans filthily as he continues licking me in firm, aggressive strokes. Blissful waves wash over me, turning my mind to jelly as my sole focus becomes the sinful feelings Brock is giving me.

When my body finally calms, I’m relieved, because I honestly don’t know how much more I could take.

Brock kisses the inside of my thighs, then pulls away. It takes me a moment to realize he’s pulled his cock out of his pants.

It shouldn’t shock me. This is what we’re supposed to do. But that doesn’t stop fear from creeping through me like ivy, and try as I might, I can’t stop tears from welling in my eyes.

Brock’s lips become a thin line of disappointment. “I didn’t ask for this. I know I’m not your fucking boyfriend, or whoever it is you left behind, but don’t act like I’ve hurt you.”

“Huh?”

“That fucking look you’re giving me. Like I somehow forced you into this.” He grabs my chin, forcing my eyes to his. “You chose to come here. Don’t put this on me.”

“I-I didn’t mean to—”

“Fuck!” He lets go of my chin and turns away, running his fingers through his hair, then glaring back at me.

I need to diffuse this before he gets more mad.

“I-I’m sorry…” I stutter.

“I don’t give a fuck about your apologies. Either spread your legs or get the fuck out of this cabin, but I don’t want to see you crying for whoever the fuck you wish I could be.”

“I’m not upset because of who you aren’t…I’ve just…never done this before.”

His jaw drops. “Are you fucking kidding me?”

“I’ve spent the last ten years in a cabin with only my family. This is all new to me, and we’re moving really fast. I’m sorry I got scared.”

“Jesus Christ,” he mutters, squeezing his eyes shut and saying curse words under his breath. Getting him more mad will only make matters worse for me. Perhaps if he sees that our goals align, he’ll calm down.

“Maybe we could try again? I’ll try not to cry.”

“I ain’t never stole a girl’s innocence before.”

“You can’t steal what I give freely,” I whisper. “We’re both in this situation, and I’m not blaming you for anything. We need to make this work.”

He won’t even look at me.

“We could try again. Maybe on the bed?”

All I can do is watch as he closes his pants and walks over to the bucket on the table, grabbing a bottle from it as he heads to the door.

Things couldn’t have gone any worse.

I made a huge mistake, and now, the only person in the world who can help keep my brother and sister safe is furious at me. And I don’t even know what I did wrong.
