“Well, you sure as hell don’t look like a Hufflepuff.”

“What’s that mean?”

“I don’t know, they’re sweet, nature-loving wizards and you’re… you know…”

He yanks me to the middle of the pull-out couch and holds my chin up. “And I’m what? Scary?”

“Maybe.”

“But you like that, Taylor?” he whispers, leaning down close to my face. “You want a bad boy? Want me to be your Malfoy?”

I shudder as his strawberry mint breath blows across my face. He flashes a devastating smile, knowing what he’s doing to me. How can someone so dark and moody have the most heart-breaking smile?

“Do you want me to kiss you?” he asks, his smile fading into seriousness.

“Please,” I whisper, wanting nothing more than to engulf him in the flames burning within me.

He presses his lips into mine, gently and briefly before pulling them back. I claw at his neck, dragging him back into me but he resists, leaving me breathless and wanting.

“Should we put on the second movie?” he asks.

“Elijah…” I groan, my hands still wrapped around his neck.

“What, Taylor? Tell me what you want.”

“Don’t make me,” I whisper.

“Hmm okay. I’ll tell you what I want,” he says, unwrapping my hands with ease. “The second movie.”

I cross my arms. “Why won’t you fuck me?”

“If you want my dick, you first have to accept the fact that I’m not letting you go afterward. You fuck me once, and you’re mine forever. You understand?”

“I—"

“Shhh. Forever. So, give it some thought, yeah?”

I slump back down into my spot, feeling wetness drip into a puddle in my panties.

He plays the second movie and slides in next to me, closer than before. His fingers trail my waistline, and he dips into my underwear tentatively.

“Mmm,” he says pulling his hand out, now coated in glistening arousal. I curl my hips back and forth, longing for his hand. Instead of diving back in, he puts his arm around my shoulder, and I rest my head on his chest. He radiates intense warmth that immediately eases my burning desire.

I wake up with my head still on his chest. The movie is long over.

“Oh, shit.” I sit up and rub my eyes. “What time is it?”

“Good, you’re awake. I need to go,” he says, standing up.

“Where are you going?” I groan, reaching out for him.

“On a run,” he says. “I’d ask you to join but you probably couldn’t keep up.”

Asshole.

“You can go one day without working out, you know.” I sit forward and search for my phone in the covers.

“True. But not if I want to make my way back to the top.”
