“Mommy snores, huh?” she retorted, holding out her arms and welcoming their son as he nearly tackled her in a hug before climbing over her and flopping down in the middle of the bed excitedly.
“Do you know what you just did?” he muttered, looking at her as he stepped into the room to stand before her, touching her cheek tenderly.
“Efficiently planned on giving both of my favorite guys the attention they need?” she breathed, turning slightly to kiss his palm as she looked at him openly. “One cartoon, lots of snuggles, then you can tuck him in… and…”
“And?” he whispered huskily, leaning down to kiss her.
“Peaches,” she promised tenderly.
“You’re on, Lumberjack.”
“I love you, Pudding… more and more every day.”
