I loved the hunt, and they’d even purchased a few of my finds.

Nick still called me up regularly for “lunches” and special “one on one meetings” with only me.

And I loved that.

And I loved him.

More and more every day.

He didn’t seem to mind sleeping in my crappy house. It did feel a bit more cramped with Nick there now, though. Especially after Asher got home.

Those two butted heads constantly.

Nick actually had great restraint when it came to dealing with my idiot brother.

To show him how much I appreciated his sacrifice, I’d asked Giselle to stay over occasionally so Nick and I could have some alone time at his place.

And he always rewarded me for arranging those nights.

I never thought I’d feel this way about anyone.

And I sure never thought anyone would love me as passionately as Nick does.

All in all, I was in heavenly bliss. The kind that I’d only read about in romance novels.

“What are you reading?” Nick asked from his side of the bed. He’d been reading some dull business book as thick as a phonebook.

“Nothing, just a book,” I said, turning away from him.

I could feel him slide in closer, spooning me. “What’s on the cover, show me,” he asked, grabbing the book with one hand and closing it on my thumb. “Why are there three guys and only one girl?”

“Because it’s a reverse harem novel,” I said, pulling the book out of his grip.

“Reverse—harem?” he spoke into my neck, causing goosebumps to form. “So, the woman has a harem of—men?” he asked, his voice rising on the last word.

“Yeah. It’s a book where the woman has three or more lovers,” I said, nearly whispering.

His hand wrapped around me and grasped my breast. “And you’re into this? One woman with many men?”

“They’re love stories, Nick. I’m addicted to Jane Jeffries’ books,” I said, telling him the name of the author. “It’s not all about sex.” I added, even though a fair amount of her books focused on exactly that.

“Hmm, I have to say I’m rather surprised that you read these kinds of books. Is that something you’ve explored in your personal life?” His hand squeezed my breast in the most wonderful way.

I pressed my bottom closer to him. “No. The only time I had a—well, kind of a ménage—was with you. Other than that, it’s all been one on one.”

His tongue licked the edge of my ear. “And is this something you’re interested in? A ménage—or more, with me and another man?”

I giggled and turned around. “You’re all I need, honey,” I said, lifting my head and kissing his warm lips. “I love you,” I whispered against his mouth.

He groaned and kissed me deeper, “I love you, too.”

Then Nick proved once again that one man was more than enough to fulfill my desires.

The next day at work, was busy again.

I liked it that way.

About halfway through the morning, Nick texted me. “Come up here. I have something very big and important to show you.”
