The hot ones are always taken or gay.I knew it was his brother though

Elyse:
When do you guys go back to DC?
Tomorrow.
Last nighthe tucked me in and called me Candi.I couldn’t take it anymore.I needed to tell him I wanted more.His reaction last night had to mean he wanted it too, right?Was it an alcohol-induced hallucination?
Mason:
Can you meet me at the address I’m sending?In about an hour?
Sure.
The address wasn’t far from my house.Much closer than his place in Brookline.I pulled into the cute little ranch and noted Mason’s car already in the driveway.I wondered whose house we were at.
I knocked on the door, and he answered.“Thanks for coming, Candace.”
I passed him and walked into the kitchen of the house.“Whose house is this?”
“Catherine’s.Though she hasn’t been here since Eli died.I just needed a private place to talk to you.Let’s sit.”He pointed into the adjoining room, and I took a seat on the couch.
“I don’t know if you’ve seen the press this morning.”
“My mother told me.Sorry about that.”
“It’ll blow over.We just need to ignore it, okay?”I nodded.“But Catherine and I decided it’s a good time for her to move in with me to transition Wyatt to living with her again.He starts school in the fall, and he’ll be with her full-time.We’re trying to minimize the upheaval.”
I just nodded.I felt like a bobblehead at this point.“So, I guess this is the last time I’m coming down then.”
“About that.I thought I’d just have them ship all your things.Catherine can pack them up for you when she moves into that room.That way you don’t have to come back down.”
“That’s unnecessary.I can do it.”
