“I think the casting director called the stunt director, and she is the only Elite omega available in the stunt category.” Ruby chucked. “Most of us sing and dance.”

Myrtle shrugged. “I don’t know how to do either.”

“One of your guys has to be able to teach you. You have to dance in the movie.”

“I know. Is it in bad form to make a break for it?”

“Very. We are pulling in as many of us Elite omegas as we can for the pixie scenes. Some of us are pulling two roles to make up the number.”

“So, why can’t one of them do it?”

“You suit the role, and you can make out with Teyval in his troll form without shitting yourself.”

“The tusks are adorable. What can I say?” She smiled as they approached the food.

“They always get us where we are weak.”

Toros walked toward her with a plate full of food, and nothing was on her ick list. Myrtle smiled and thanked him then turned to Ruby. “Yeah, they do.”

She nibbled at the food, and Toros stood near her as her personal beverage caddy. She glanced up at him. “You don’t have to do penance.”

“I like standing near you. The architect keeps trying to get me to quote projects. The Elite omegas freak him out, but he is fine with the dark Elite. I am using you to keep him at bay.”

She giggled. “Ah. In that case, thank you.”

Rex came up and introduced herself. “So, I am going to be your body when you are running through the woods and falling off the cliff. The fun part is that they can just digitally put your face on my body, and we are a fairly good size match. No one will know.”

Myrtle and Rex stepped to one side and sat down to talk about the screenplay and how Myrtle moved.

After an hour, Myrtle knew she wasn’t going to back out. Rex was great, didn’t have mates, and didn’t particularly want any... just like Myrtle.

Myrtle looked around the party for her mates and saw them standing there, talking to Ruby’s two and others that Myrtle hadn’t met. No, she didn’t want a mate, but now she had four and couldn’t imagine life without them. Her thoughts got very warm and fuzzy, and they turned toward her as one.

Rex laughed. “And I think you are going to head home.”

“Yeah. I suddenly want to go over details with the guys.”

“Of course. Sensible. I will talk to you during rehearsals.” Rex grinned. “Have a good night, Myrtle.”

Myrtle blushed and said goodbye to everyone, and her pack headed toward their cars. They headed home, and Teyval told her that Dante was going to be coming over to go over the contracts.

“Uh, would it be weird if I grabbed Denith and took care of his rut?”

Teyval and Byron exhaled. Teyval said, “No. It is not weird. I am glad you didn’t tell him before the drive home.”

“Me, too. I would have been up against the wall before we got to his car.”

Byron chuckled. “Possibly on the hood of his car.”

* * * *

Teyval glanced at Byron as they watched Myrtle haul not only Denith but Toros also up the stairs, muttering, “Fine, but if he bites you, don’t come crying to me. I am not kissing it better.”

Teyval laughed softly and went to get a drink. “I am going to wait until midnight before heading up.”

Byron walked with him. “Do you think she will carry through with the movie?”

“Yes. It was a good call to bring Rex in. They have a lot in common.” Teyval smiled.
