Rea smiles at Zain and shrugs, “it’s a secret,” knowing that will make him more curious.

“I love secrets,” he says with a raised brow which has Dream groaning.

“Not mine to tell big boy,” Rea says which has Zain frowning when she calls him big boy.

“Stop that,” he grunts in annoyance.

“We here,” Drez calls as he walks into the room, “what do you need?” he asks looking at Dream.

“Well,” Dream says as she glances at me and Vain, “there has been a slight change of plan.”

“Explain!” Trek demands as he leans against the back wall outside the door to the room.

“We think that I can open the portal without having to draw the room.” I see Drez’s uncertain expression as he looks at the blank wall and then around at all of us.

“Are you certain this will work?” he asks, it is clear that he doesn’t like the idea of the unknown, but the problem is that we are running out of time and the quicker they get to the Human realm the quicker they will get back with help.

“It will be fine Drez, don’t worry you won’t land in a Dragon’s nest,” I tease which has him scowling at me.

“Don’t even joke, do you know how vicious Dragon’s are when they are first born?” he asks as he shakes his head in dislike.

“I think I can do it,” Dream says, “I can go, if it works, I’ll come back and get you.” Drez lifts an index finger pointing at her.

“Don’t even try, if you are going then I am also,” he snaps with a growl.

“Okay, no need to get snappy” Dream mutters, “might as well do it now,” she lifts her hand to Drez who takes it in his much bigger one taking a step to stand next to her.

I want to tell them to be careful, but I know that they are both unsure of what can happen if this doesn’t work. Therefore, I plaster a smile on my face as I see Dream looking at me, I nod in encouragement.

A minute later she is closing her eyes, I see Drez looking down at Dream just as before them a misty circle starts to shimmer as if the air in front of them is vibrating and shifting to the eye. “Step in” she murmurs as she lifts her foot placing it through the circle. Drez grunts but does as she ordered, a few minutes later their bodies are disappearing through the portal.

We stand in silence as the circle continues to shimmer for a few more minutes and then it suddenly disappears. “Wow,that’s something,” Doil says as he steps forward to run his hand through the now empty space where the portal opened.

“Can you imagine how much humans would pay to know that that is possible?” Brok says.

“You need to have very strong magic to be able to do that,” Trek replies with a shrug.

“Why can’t the rest of you do it if you use the same magic?” Doil asks as he looks at us in question.

“Our magic is different, we work at different vibrations,” I explain, but can see that he doesn’t understand what I am saying as he frowns in confusion. “Basically, we specialize in different types of magic.”

“I didn’t know there were different types,” he says in surprise, “I just thought some were stronger than others,”

“Some will dabble in different types, but their strength will be only in one” Vain explains as she lifts her hand to point at him, immediately I see him shiver. I lift my hand and point it at his feet and see him gasp as I warm his feet. Rea lifts her hand, and his hair starts to blow as if from a strong wind.

“Okay, okay I understand” he gasps as he starts to jump up and down on each foot, his hands are rubbing his arms to try and keep them warm. “Stop” he pleads which has me lowering my hand to stop. The men are all grinning at Doil’s lesson as he is the curious one in the group.

“Trek,” I turn my head to look at Cole standing in the doorway, a concerned look on his face, “can I have word?” I tense at his interruption knowing that whatever the reason he seeks Trek, it won’t be good. Trek nods as he approaches Cole that inclines his head to the left from where he came. They both leave in that direction leaving us gazing after them.

“I wonder if something happened,” Vain says as she walks to the door only to be stopped by Aqua that comes to stand before her with a raised brow.

“If something happened you will know soon enough,” he states which has her glaring at him.

“You are no fun do you know that?” she asks.

“I’m not here to have fun, I’m here to make sure that you continue breathing which you make really difficult,” I want to smile at Aqua’s statement when I see Vain’s surprised expression. Aqua is not one to complain or confront without provocation, that he actually put Vain in her place has surprised everyone, even her.

I have never seen Vain not have a comeback, but today she huffs and turns her back on him to walk up to the bed and sit down. Now that is surprising, I look over at Aqua with new eyes as I see his very light green eyes looking at Vain nonchalantly and long blond hair tied up in a ponytail with a brown leather strip.
