Right. The bunny rabbit. I only hoped Frost would accept him, because, like me, he thought rabbits were food.

“Let me put him somewhere safe,” I said.

Aura handed the fluff ball to me, and I went to find him a spot in the kitchen. The irony! I put him in a box and placed the box high on the kitchen counter, where Frost couldn’t reach him. Just in case. On second thought, I also gave the bunny a carrot to keep him busy, lest he got out of his box and started hopping around the house.

“I’ll run you a bath,” I told Aura.

“Take me upstairs?”

There were two bathrooms in the house, one downstairs and one upstairs, and they were both big, with massive tubs. Truth be told, I usually washed Frost in the downstairs tub. I took Aura in my arms once more, and she clung to me.

Once upstairs, she watched me prepare the bath for her. I made sure the water wasn’t too hot, since it wouldn’t do her any good in the near frozen state she was in, and poured rose oil in the tub. I’d bought it especially for her, and I remembered even now the look the cashier gave me when I paid. Some things would be stuck in my memory forever. Too bad I couldn’t remember anything from before the Shift. I liked to believe that my past life had been a pleasant one, with more people in it, people who looked like me.

“Ready?” I asked Aura.

She nodded and stood up, wobbly on her feet.

“Help me?”

I took off her coat, then helped her out of the dress. All her clothes were soaked, down to her bra and panties, and her skin was cold and deathly pale. All I wanted was to take a step back and stare at her naked form, admire her like one would admire a goddess, but there was no time for such things. I had to delay my own needs and desires, because warming her up was the priority. She looked ghostly, like she was with one foot in the world of the living, and the other in the world of the dead.

She was thin and frail, but her curves were enticing. Her hourglass figure made her the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen. I hated it that it was always so cold here and she had to hide her body underneath layers of cotton, wool, and fur. In our bedroom, I was going to crank up the heat, and hopefully... I would be able to see more of her, more often.

“I don’t think I can get in on my own,” she said, standing in front of the tub.

“You don’t have to.”

Gently, I lifted her up and lowered her into the rising water. It came up to just below her round, incredible breasts, and it was hard to look away. Her nipples were hard and dark pink, and all I wanted was to touch them, take them into my mouth and tease them slowly. My cock was so hard by now that I needed to readjust it in my leather pants. I did so discreetly.

Aura hugged her knees to her chest.

“Is the bunny okay?” she asked, waiting for the water to rise and engulf her up to her shoulders.

“Yes. I put him in a box.”

“I think I’ll name him Fluffy. What do you think?”

I chuckled as I sat next to the tub. “Fitting.” I took water in my hands and poured it down her back.

She shuddered. “That feels nice.”

“Do you want me to wash your hair?”

“Okay.”

We were both silent as I washed her long auburn hair, massaging her scalp until she closed her eyes and let me support her head. She uncurled her body and relaxed.

“Are you still cold?”

“No.”

I washed her shoulders and her back next, then she gave me one leg, and I lathered it with soap. I didn’t need to use a cloth or a bath sponge, since my hands were huge and covered in hair. She looked at me from behind her long lashes. She was almost asleep.

“You screamed when you saw me,” I blurted out. It had weighed heavily on my chest since I’d found her.

“What?”

“You screamed. In the woods, when you saw me.”
