“I know what I said Aeon,” Katarina snapped at him. “I… we get this… that means…”
Her breathing was labored, her skin was flushed, I didn’t know what was happening, but she got up, backed away from us, and looked panicked.
“Kitten,” Aeon said softly, like he was trying not to spook her.
She backed away until she hit the wall.
“Kit Kit?” Lucien was slowly getting up.
“I… I… Can’t…” She was looking at the floor like they were going to suffocate her.
I stood up, pushing Aeon out of the way and received a growl from him, but I didn’t care. Right now, she didn’t needto be coddled, she needed to let go. “Look at me Katarina,” I demanded.
Her breathing was erratic, worrying me that she was going to pass out.
“Katarina, look at me,” I growled, forcing some of my Alpha power into the words.
“Zev—” Aeon’s words were cut off.
“Look. At. Me,” I growled, and her beautiful violet eyes met mine. “Breathe.”
Tears were running freely down her face.
“I’m… I’m going to… die.” Her words cut through me leaving me speechless.
“No, you are not,” I snapped. “What do you need?”
I caged her in between my arms, trying to focus on just me.
“Make me… forget,” she whispered.
“On the bed now.” I snapped.
She didn’t move.
“Is this really fucking necessary?” Aeon snarled.
Her eyes looked behind me, flashing with anger as she wiped her tears away. I still saw her inner turmoil, but my feisty Hellcat was coming out to play.
Lucien said something to Aeon, but I kept my gaze on her.
“If you don’t agree with what we are going to do, then get out,” I commanded.
Katarina shivered from the power I laced in my voice to get my point across. When no one moved, I assumed everyone was going to stay for the show.
“Bed now,” I said to Katarina.
Defiance flared in her eyes. She wanted to fight, and I was hoping that’s what she was going to give me.
“Well, move. I can’t get on the bed if you’re hovering over me,” she snapped.
“That’s one spanking, Katarina,” I said, moving out of the way.
She glared at me as she moved, keeping our eyes locked as she walked backwards to the bed.
“I think in order for me to receive these spankings, you need to…”
She took off running.
