“Yeah. Let’s go along with it for now and later we’ll make a more informed decision. Okay?”

A chorus of yeah’s and??’s ring out before I sign off.

Minutes later, I notice ten other bikers in the distance off to the side of the road waiting for us. Five pull out in front of us, and I assume the other five will be taking up the rear. Gritting my teeth, I stew as we ride the last half hour of the trip. Fuck, if this shit keeps up, I’ll probably end up cracking all my teeth.

Driving down the road, there are woods to my right and a long cinderblock wall on my left. While I remember hearing a rumor that after an issue at the clubhouse a few years back, they put up a cinderblock wall for extra protection; I didn’t think it went this far back from the entrance.

The speed of the bikers in front of our group slows, so we must be getting closer to the gate. After pulling into the compound, they lead us along a winding road. This is definitely bigger than I remember. Either that or they’ve cleared some land.

As we pass the clubhouse, we get a lot of stares from the few non-club members and the club bunnies. Guess only the members knew we were coming. I also don’t miss the glares and interested looks Sasha and I get when they realize we’re women.

At the thought of the bunnies, I scowl. Fucking patch-chasing bitches. I shake my head and focus on where we’re heading, in case we need to get out of here quickly.

Patch and eight of the men who joined us peel off and park by the clubhouse. The remaining two lead us back toward a house that’s tucked into the woods.

It’s a big nice-looking, two-story house with white siding and black shutters and what looks like a wrap-around porch. A detached three-stall garage stands next to it. Though with how big it is, I wonder who all lives there.

The two men in front come to a stop and the rest of us park as well. As soon as I rip my helmet off, I glare at Dragon and make my way over to him.

“Spill, Dragon. What the fuck is going on that we all had to detour here instead of going home?”

A throat clears behind me, and I turn my glare to the newcomer, only to throw my hands in the air.

“Fuck me sideways. Now I have to deal with two alpha assholes.”

The new guy, whom I’m assuming is the President, smirks, and winks at me. My scowl deepens as I try to ignore my traitorous libido. Fuck, why do they both have to be fucking hot? They have to be twins because the new guy is basically a complete carbon copy of Dragon, except the new guy has darker blue eyes than Dragon. At first glance, everything else seems to be identical about them. If I’m going to be here for very long, I’ll have to figure out some other ways of telling them apart.

Wait. Where did that come from?

“Well, true to Dragon’s words, you are definitely a Wildcat. I’m Thor, President of Steel Archangel’s MC. This is Phoenix, my VP. How about we take this conversation inside?”

I turn my scowl back at Dragon, who just smirks that sexy as fuck smirk in response. What the fuck did he tell his brother about me?

“Fine, but you better have alcohol in there, otherwise my knives are definitely coming out to play,” I say before turning and starting down the path that leads to the house.

“Same here, ??????,” the twins say in unison and as they fall into step behind me, I don’t miss the shocked looks on Thor or Phoenix. I hear Dragon’s deep chuckle behind me, and I can’t stop the grin that forms.

“You two will have to go back to the clubhouse…”

Before Thor even finishes his sentence, three knives are embedded in the dirt at his feet.

His shocked face soon turns tight with anger as he stares down the twins and me. I slip another knife out of its sheath, stalk toward him, and stand toe-to-toe as I point my blade at him.

“They go where we go for the time being or we all walk. They’re with us regardless of your opinion on the matter. You don’t separate family. Once we know what’s going on, we can make a better decision on who goes where. So, it’s decision time for you, big guy. We staying? Or are we riding out of here? Cause I gotta tell you, my gym is calling me, followed by a nice soak in my tub. What’s it gonna be?”

His nostrils flare, and I know I’m taking a big risk calling him out in front of his VP, Enforcer, and any other of his club brothers that may be lurking around, but he needs to know that we won’t be pushed around. Ever.

“Inside.”

His voice is hard and cold, but damn, does it still send a shiver down my spine. Just like Dragon’s voice does. His eyes widen a bit before he smirks when he sees the effect his voice has on me.

Sheathing my knife, I give him a smirk of my own. After retrieving our knives from the ground, I pivot on my heel before striding toward his house like I own it, flipping a blade in the air. Fucker better learn quick not to mess with me or my family, otherwise he might lose some appendages.

“At least it was you this time and not me,” I barely hear Dragon say before he laughs softly and claps someone’s shoulder, most likely Thor’s.

“Fuckin’ hell,” someone mutters. I decide to ignore them and instead continue up the stairs and through the front door.

Once inside, I have to do a double take. It isn’t as bare, messy, or as uncoordinated as I thought a place owned by a couple of bikers would look like. This place is gorgeous. Wood floors, leather furniture, open concept with what looks like a professional kitchen as well. And damn, they even have a fireplace. Definitely not what I was expecting in a place mostly full of men.
