I hug both of them before handing Kristy the box. “Kristy, could you?”
“Of course, Mae. Nikki told me about it this morning and sent me a picture, so I made sure the wedding hairdo I did for you would suit it.”
Smiling, I shake my head.
When she’s done, I look up and give a bit of a twirl. “How do I look?”
Dad’s eyes turn a little glassy again, but they’re also filled with pride. I’m also shocked to see Nikki, Levi, Sasha, and Susie all blinking away their tears as well. The others are grinning as they watch.
“Fucking beautiful, Baby Girl.”
“Beautiful? She’s fucking hot and as soon as Timber lays eyes on Miss Sexy here, he’s going to be stealing her away the first chance he can get,” Allison says which has everyone laughing but Dad.
“Please, for the love of God, I do not need the image of my daughter having sex in my head, Alli,” Dad growls at her, but there’s no heat behind it and she knows it.
Allison’s grin widens as she wiggles her eyebrows and Dad groans again.
“Alright, are we ready?” Kristy asks.
Looking around, everyone gives me a nod, and I nod to Kristy, not trusting my voice right now.
She grins at me. “I’ll get the guys then and in a few minutes, I’ll make the announcements for everyone to retake their seats.”
Kristy disappears down the hallway and minutes later, the door opens up. My brothers lead the charge with Punisher in the front, Erik, Dom, and Axe behind him with Dragon, Thor, and Gunner not too far behind them.
However, Punisher stops a few feet in, which has the others running into his back.
“What the fuck is your...” Dom says before he follows Punisher’s line of sight and they all stare at me, stunned. “Fuck, sis. I mean, I knew you were gorgeous before, but fuck...”
His statement has my cheeks flaming and I turn, embarrassed, as I stare at the ground. “Is it too much? My scars?”
Axe is instantly in front of me, kneeling so I can look straight into his eyes. “Lil’ sis, this dress fits you perfectly and you shouldn’t give a flying fuck if anyone says anything about your scars.”
Cheers of ‘hear hear’ ring out and I blink, struggling to believe this is real.
“It’s real, Lil’ sis. Now, shake off those nerves, dab at your eyes, because I know someone is dying to lay his eyes on you already. Fuck, I can’t wait to see his reaction when you step out on Smoke’s arm. I have $20 that he’s going to be sporting wood the second you walk out.”
I stare at him in shock. “You had better not be betting on my man’s love stick, brother dear!”
This causes laughter all around.
“Hun, we all placed bets, but it wasn’t just on Timber. It was also on Thor and Dragon.”
I sputter. “How did I not know about this?”
Susie grinned. “Because we also knew it would almost instantly wipe away any tears you might have. Though I’m surprised it didn’t leak out while we were getting ready for Levi’s wedding. She had no idea as well.”
Levi nodded as she laughed. “I had no idea until afterward, but fuck is that funny. I would have put money on Dragon first.”
“Oh, he won for your men,” Sasha tells her with a wink, and I narrow my eyes at her.
“So, who exactly is staring at our men’s love sticks and judging these bets?”
“My sister, Lizzy,” Erin speaks up. “She’s a lesbian and offered to judge so there’d be no hard feelings.”
Even though it didn’t seem intentional, her words cause a whole ‘nother round of laughter.
A knock on the door has all of us settling down and Kristy pops her head in. “I didn’t want to interrupt since I wanted to give you all a few minutes,” she says and then winks at me. “And I knew about the bets, as well. My money’s on ‘at first sight’ for Timber. And with that, I’m going to go make my announcement.”
