Jeepers, he’s huge!

I clench my legs together, making it awkward to walk, but the throbbing persists.

Aiden’s body is out of this world.

I salivate remembering the water drops running over his muscles. You’d have to be dead not to be affected by that sight. I’m pretty sure my mouth was hanging open.

Obviously, I knew he was well built, but nothing could have prepared me for seeing him in the flesh.

But there was also something other than his huge cock that caught my attention. Right over his heart was a tattoo. The triquetra branded his skin, the symbol of trinity my father loved so much.

What does it mean to him? Why is it over his heart?

I yearn to find out everything there is about Aiden, but I really shouldn’t. Getting any closer to him is a recipe for disaster.

In the past few days, there were countless occasions when I wanted to take his hand and just hold it, or throw my arms around him and drag him to the nearest bed to have my wicked way with him. Actually, I’d like an award for resisting because it’s been torture.

I need to snap out of this lustiness. Every single aspect of my life is uncertain. I can’t add another explosive into that cocktail.

God, I’m overthinking this as usual.

No matter what, I’ll always arrive at the same conclusion anyway. Tiero would kill Aiden if I ever let him touch me.

He’s probably a dead man walking for just helping me. But I’m counting on being able to appeal to Tiero to let Aiden go. And as long as I can keep my distance from Aiden, there’s a good chance I’ll succeed. At least I hope I’m not deluding myself.

But staying away from Aiden is getting harder by the day, and we still have many ahead of us before we reach Yoho National Park.

After picking up the RV, we’ve slowed our pace and done a little sightseeing after all. There’s no rush to get to our destination, other than it might make my life easier not being so close to Ade all the freaking time.

But what a wasted opportunity that would be. Canada is spectacular. I can’t get enough of the stunning scenery.

“Does he know?” Ade’s voice suddenly comes from behind me.

I could play dumb to delay having to answer. But what would the point be? I know exactly who he’s referring to.

Turning to him, I watch as he sits down on a fallen log. With a sigh, I join him and he passes me a mug of steaming licorice tea.

By the time I get up every morning, he has one prepared for me. It’s the sweetest thing. But that’s Ade.

“Thank you,” I smile despite the tension unfurling in my body with him so near.

“To answer your question, Tiero doesn’t know. I found out on the ship.” I say, taking a sip of the tea. It’s the perfect drinking temperature.

“But Tiero might suspect it. In hindsight, all signs point to him trying to get me pregnant.”

I dare a glance at Ade and his jaw clenches. “To bind you to him?”

I nod. “He talked about getting married the morning after we had unprotected sex… to make his heir legitimate.”

I shift uncomfortably. It seems wrong to talk with Aiden about sex with another man. And judging from his facial expression, he’s not big on it either.

“Nothing has changed for me,” Aiden says softly. “I admit I’m shocked you’re pregnant, but it doesn’t affect my feelings for you. They’re as strong as ever.”

Oh Ade.

My heart squeezes painfully. His words make me want to throw my arms around him. Instead, I avoid his gaze, staring at the moss beneath my feet.

Stay strong!
