Leaning back against the arm of the sofa he reached for her hips and got a solid grip on her body as she straddled him.
She could see the look in his eyes and knew that he had something in mind for her. For them.
“What,” he curled up into her and she lost her breath for a moment.
He looked up at her and she saw the hard edge in his gaze. “Did you have something to ask me, Caroline?”
She nodded and had to focus to make her words heard. “What are you thinking about?”
He bit into his bottom lip as he pulled her down to his straining hips. When her eyelids fluttered closed from the sensation, he went silent.
And then she opened her eyes again, her mind almost high on the sensations he was creating between her legs.
He gazed up at her and it was the same look that he’d often get standing across the kitchen from her. Caroline felt the same chills as she had then, coursing down her spine.
“Hold on Caro, I’m about to show you my way of heating things up.”
Caroline reached up and took hold of his shoulders. She couldn’t wait.
Lucas always made her burn.
